and at least in Ohio the ingredients are easy to find
I've waited about a year to write this review so that I could work through a majority of the recipes. I've tried several from each section, so I feel ready. Most of the recipes are tasty, and at least in Ohio the ingredients are easy to find. The superfoods she lists are often optional. I can tell a lot of thought and care went into this book, and overall I've enjoyed working my way through it. HOWEVER, I have two issues with it. 1. There are no estimated prep/cooking times. This is frustrating to me in planning for the day. Especially since vegan food in general takes a little longer to prepare. 2. WHO EATS THIS MUCH?! The serving sizes are MASSIVE. I have made many "serves 2" recipes and at least gotten 4 each time. I'm following the recipes exactly, so it's not just me. Either I eat tiny portions or it's over the top. I hope she comes out with more cookbooks in the future, as overall I'm impressed.

Great recipes, need more detail
The recipes are great. I just think putting in information about the total prep/cooking time, what pan sizes are needed, etc., and just being more detailed in general would have made it a little easier to use.

I love this book
I love this book. Niomi was one of the first YouTubers I followed and I love her channel and this book. I made the rosemary sweet potatoes for Thanksgiving and everyone loved them, I had three people tell me they normally don't like sweet potatoes but they loved these. I can't wait to make everything else in the book.

It is a great book! Been following Niomi for a while now and her book is nothing short of amazing. All the recipes are yummy, regardless if you are a vegan or just looking to incorporate some more veggies into your diet. Very well thought through and structured layout plus a beautiful design. Makes a great present!

Yummy, easy, good results.
I love this cookbook. Easy to follow and inspirational. I aim for vegan or plant based meals just a few days a week and this makes me want to eat that way everyday just so I can try all of the recipes.

Good for vegans
It's a plant based recipe book filled with vegan recipes. the author wrote about herself and how she got into making the recipes. it's good recipes, I've seen her videos on you tube or how I came upon buying her book. The recipes are good if you're a vegan or not vegan.

Needs more food pictures
The recipes are good and I love the intro pages that talked about ingredients, etc. I am giving 4 stars instead of 5, though, because I felt as if there were more pictures of Naomi than there was the food. Naomi is beautiful, but in a recipe book I prefer to see what I am about make.

Smart cookbook choice
This book is very informative and filled with healthy recipes. Not Vegan, but it is especially inspiring for making healthier food choices. Very tastefully presented and worth every dollar..

Great recipes and advice!
I I love this book. Besides having a LOT of great recipes, the illustrations are beautiful, and the author's warm and approachable personality is clearly reflected throughout the book. She also shares a bit about herself, her health journey and gives lifestyle suggestions based on what she has learned. At the end of the book she shares how she talks about meal planning and gives "what to eat in a day" suggestions. The book feels substantial and is packed with information and recipes but without feeling busy or cluttered. I definitely feel like a got my money's worth.

Student-friendly!!
I love this cook book. I've been vegetarian for 7 years and have recently become more interested in a vegan or plant based lifestyle. I usually find that vegan and vegetarian cookbooks can have recipes that are too complex, or have ingredients that are out of my budget as a student. However, this cookbook is full of practical recipes that I find are perfect for a student. My new go-to cookbook when I don't know what to make. Lots of the recipes are easily modified too if you don't have all the ingredients. Love it!

Yes - surprisingly good!
This book was a surprise - i bought it because i watch her vlogs occasionally - i'm 34. i like the health aspect. I was impressed at how easy the recipes are - such a breath of fresh air to buy a book and actually be able to make most of the recipes! i would recommend! And i hope she makes another book - maybe a 'healthy christmas' book might be good?

Excellent read that promotes a healthy life style. All the recipes I have made from the book have been excellent, would recommend to anybody wanting to make a positive change to their lifestyle or wanting more information on a plant based/vegan diet.
