Ive purchased so many laundry detergents and I’ve finally found one that I’ve stuck with in Gain + Odor defense. My husband is a chef and let me tell you, getting the stench of geese out of clothing is a battle! One I that constantly thwarts me, but with Gain + Odor defense his clothes are less pungent and here’s why I’ve been really impressed with this Gain Odor Removal laundry detergent so far. The stain removal power is noticeably better than some of the regular detergents I’ve used before, especially on everyday stains and lingering odors from towels, workout clothes, and pet blankets. Clothes come out smelling fresh without being overpowering. One thing I really like is the softness it leaves behind. Even without using extra fabric softener, clothes still feel comfortable and clean after washing. The scent lasts for a while too, which is a bonus if you like that classic Gain smell. The bottle size is decent for the price and doesn’t feel skimpy. A little goes a long way, so the quantity should last a while depending on how often you do laundry. The detergent itself is concentrated enough that you don’t need to overuse it to get good results. As far as strength goes, it handles strong odors surprisingly well. I tested it on gym clothes and kitchen towels and it definitely helped remove that “stale” smell other detergents sometimes leave behind. The only downside is that it can get a little messy when pouring because the liquid is thick and sometimes drips around the cap if you aren’t careful. Not a dealbreaker, but worth mentioning. Overall, this has become one of my favorite detergents for both odor control and everyday cleaning performance. I’d buy it again.

Gain is only brand we use in our household. It cleans great, smells even greater and that power boost thing you hear about in the ads is completely true. I can put something on that's been in the drawer for weeks and that refreshing gain scent comes right out. The consistency of the soap is thick and not watery, the suds are plenty and you don't need to use much with the load. I like the giant containers and they really do last. The price has gone up as with everything right now but it's worth a bit more than other brands. If it keeps going up in price then that could be a problem for them as well as us consumers. Let's hope that doesn't happen so I can continue to love everything about my Gain. Love all the amazing scents to choose from too

I am so happy that game went vegan I love the fact that they have an older defense and they have the older defense beads the liquid is portable it is not a harsh scent and it's not a harsh on my skin so I know the ingredients is not too intrusive when it comes to someone with sensitive skin it is a good size for the price you do get a full gallon of Tide they don't cut it off it's full it does not remove stains it takes out the odors in your gym clothes it is portable I mean it's liquid so it's not a harsh liquid it's soft but it doesn't create softness in your clothes again it's meant to remove the odor in your gym clothes in your work clothes in your puppy sheets

Got this detergent to match the scented beads and couldn't be happier. The softness and freshness it offers with that scent booster is awesome! Will purchase again. Husband approved btw.

I absolutely love this Gain + Odor Defense detergent! It cleans clothes extremely well and leaves them smelling fresh for days. One of my favorite things is that it leaves clothes feeling soft without leaving any stains or residue behind. It’s super easy to use, mixes well in the wash, and a little product goes a long way. It also does a great job removing strong odors while still being gentle on fabrics. My laundry always comes out looking clean, fresh, and feeling soft. Definitely one of the best detergents I’ve tried!

Gain is one of my favorite laundry detergents. We have never had issues with sensitive skin with it. The jug is heavy but its still easy to use. The value for the money was great, much cheaper than the big box stores. Love the smell!

Great scent and reliable cleaning power I’ve used Gain for years and always enjoyed this brand. The Super Fresh Blast scent smells really good without being too strong, and it does a great job getting clothes clean. Pros: great scent, strong cleaning, good for everyday laundry. Cons: I wish the bottle were a little easier to pour. Still one of my go‑to detergents. Works especially well if you care about fresh scent and odor control.

This is a very effective product. It smells excellent it stays in the fabric and it definitely animates odor. It also cleans clothes very well. I typically use pods, but if you’ve use the cap and measure correctly, this will last as long or longer and is a better value.
