QEP 7" Continuous Rim Diamond Blade - For Wet Cutting of Ceramic Tile

Worked as I had hoped. I was cutting 1' x 2' tiles. This blade made easy work of it and didn't splinter the tile.

This blade is fantastic. For the price, I'm not sure you can find a better blade. Take some advice from a guy who has been installing tile since the year started with 19......whenever you get a new wet saw blade, get a piece of scrap tile or just a tile you can waste. Put the new blade on the saw and make 8-10 cuts that you will then throw away. New diamond blades need to be "honed" before use. If you do this, you will have a blade that doesn't chip the glaze and leaves ultra smooth cuts. You will also save yourself the frustration and thinking you got a bad blade. QEP has been making tile products longer than many guys in the trade today have been alive. They know how to make quality stuff that gets the job done

I was having trouble cutting my DIY projects . I bought this a long time ago and up to now the smooth cut , blade performance , and the sharpness is very impressive .

Great Rock cutting saw blade!

I took a shot, and it fit my ancient tile saw from Home Depot. Yay! Wildly cheaper than the blades sold in stores, and worked fairly well for my shower project. I needed to cut 18" tiles, and lots of them. It started out doing fine, but as the day progressed, my tiles seemed to be coming out uneven, and chipped a bit along the edges. My saw is water cooled, and I keep my reservoir filled (cause I love that skunk stripe of cement water in my hair and face), so I know it wasn't overheated. Not sure if the blade or the old saw was the issue, but she stopped cutting very much, after just 2 leisurely days of an old woman cutting shower tiles. It did get the job done, but not well, and not fast, so weigh that against the cost savings. I have no idea if the $45. blades in stores are any better, but I'm willing to push a bit harder, if it saves me that much $$.

I purchased one of these while I’m the middle of a tiling job when I realized my old one was getting very dull to the point of struggling to get through tiles without a lot of chipping and binding. This blade was much cheaper than anything I could find in store, so I halted my job til this arrived. Thankfully it arrived quickly and it cuts much better than my old one. Time will tell how it is in terms of durability, but it hasn’t struggled through any cuts as long as 24”. It produces clean edges and appears to be holding up well so far.

I'm using this in a tile saw to cut Amethyst, agate, and quartz. It does a good job on all of them.
