The striker works okay, but the rod is a little short. I may get another, longer rod.

Throws Big sparks
It's the best fire starter I have ever used. The second this arrived, I tried it out, and it was throwing big sparks. I would suggest having a good fire base and rubbing off the black paint on the rod. I would highly suggest it to any Boy Scout.

Nothing short of excellence from Zippo.
Long time fan of Zippo products. I didn’t even know they had this in their lineup until I happened upon it by accident. Works well and holsters into itself conveniently. Small enough to pocket too!
