NOT A TOY
Green Laser PointerPurchased to replace older presentation red laser pointer. The green laser beam is overpowered for presentations and will not be used. If you need a presentation pointer this is not the Laser pointer for you. If you need a pointing device for long distances (half a mile approx 0.8K) this pointer might be a good choice. In either case, this device can (and most likely will) cause eye damage.Pros:Price• Attractive streamlined black aluminum body.• Rechargeable with cover to hide USB connector.• Press and Hold to power ON and release to turn off. (No click or slide buttons)• Larger than an ink pen but still small enough for a labcoat top pocket.Cons:• Overpowered Bright Green beam, can be hazardous to unprotected eyes.• The Gypsophila head (aka the Star Cap) is just a special cap that disburses the light into patterns, useless for serious applications.• The green laser had no problem illuminating objects over 200feet away, but the beam was visible. (Not good in a conference room or auditorium)• Power button guard is tall and easily powered ON while in a pocket. The plastic guard (aka Anti-Touch Protection) was added as an afterthought but is easily broken or misplaced.• No pocket clip. Seems a properly designed pocket clip could double as a power button guard like on many pocket pen lights.• The Cantilever Mount refers to the lanyard included in the box and is not truly a mounting method of any kind. Should have called it a laynard.

Very Bright and Good Value
We bought this laser to use with astronomy. It is used to point out stars such as the Polar star, which is used for telescope alignment. Because it is such a powerful laser, it is important to be extremely careful about airplanes in the area and to turn it off when a plane is nearby. The laser can also be used to assist in pointing equipment (camera or telescope) at an object you wish to photograph.

Oh, this thing is powerful.
I needed a laser pointer for school and this thing - it's pretty bright! It's almost TOO powerful! But hey - works for me!

I got this for my dog to play with. Long battery life, but very bright. Sometimes hard to look at.

Powerful Laser but Fragile
I was very satisfied with the power of the laser up until it accidentally broke a week later (user error). Thing is powerful that you can even see the airborne beam depending on the charge and environment. The light can even be slightly blinding at times depending on your eye sensitivity. The only problem was I accidentally dropped it on linoleum floor from about 4 feet in the air and broke easy the laser stopped being powerful and bright and was on par with a weak cheap laser pointer. Overall was good laser pointer but my stupidity made it break easy it is lightweight materials and possibly cheaply made which is surprising for a very powerful laser. Personally I don't think it's worth the money if it easy to break like that I've had 3 dollar laser pointers last longer and been dropped more than one time without breaking. My only reason for the purchase was 3 dollars tends have a shorter life span than a better quality laser assuming it's not easy to break

My dog is obsessed
I looked up which color worked best for dogs and it was green so I got this. My dog and I have a routine now where we go out every evening as soon as the sun goes behind the mountain and we have a ball. I get tired of shining it around the yard before he gets tired of chasing it. he is part border collie which is why he is so obsessed from what I understand. It brings me joy to watch him chase it.
