It’s awesome, great heat guard, easy to install. Put “new” pipes on my ‘90 Virago, and threw out the heat shields not thinking anything of it, and burnt the snot out of my tennis shoes (yes I know, should have been wearing boots). Ordered this and slapped it on! Easy, quick fix to not burn my expensive riding boots! Blends in nicely with the pipes too.

Bend it to wrap around your exhaust any way you want and secure it with the two hose clamps that are way to long but just cut off the excess or better yet buy smaller hose clamps . There are 3 places to fish a hose clamp thru but only two clamps supplied with the silicone heat sheid . It almost stays on when you squeeze it around your headset pioe because there’s stainless ( ? ) steel under the silicone. Bends easily. No steel is exposed to your flesh . Only silicone. Hold your hand on it after the motor has been running and it’s warm but no more hot pipe burns 🥵. Header I used was from AMAZON from ARSPORT . I’m buying more of these heat shields 😃👍🏻

I got this for my ninja 400 I was tired of burning my calf and this would go well with the bike I could not install with existing hardware but I went to Lowe's got some inch angle peaces near the door hardware section got some stainless steel bolts and lock nuts drilled a hole in the top of the angle peace then cut thin slits in the side for ss zip ties mounted the shield to the angle peaces then mounted to the exhaust I didn't want to see clamps I wanted a more clean look and keeping it off of the exhaust keeps it cooler I can touch it after long rides and it is warm but not burn you hot I love it

Junk, almost looked repackaged. The black rubber was coming apart from the metal skeleton. I had high hopes for it, but not impressed.Update: Ordered a green one a few weeks after the initial and it was in great shape. Works good although I added a strip off heat resistant exhaust insulation behind it. Stays cooler now so I’m satisfied.

The media could not be loaded.  The Green color is a Kawasaki green, so it matches the rest of my bike well. It comes with really long hose clamps, cut them to length. Bends well to exhaust shape, heat dissipation over my exhaust wrap is great. Warm to the touch but not burning hot.

Very nice, easy to install, great protection, seems like a strong sturdy construction of a product, I would definitely buy again and would recommend for exhaust pipe protection any day!

I have been riding and racing since I was about 6 years old. I am now 42 never seen this happen!I am beyond upset over this product.My granddaughter and I were riding on our TRX 450R today and this supposedly heat resistant shield caught on fire. Luckily I'm not a person of panic . I had to quickly stop get my granddaughter off the atv, i had to throw some dirt on it and luckily I was right next to a couple that was camped out and they gave me water to help extinguish the flame. It actually caught the pants leg on fire. Luckily I caught it just in time it could have possibly caught me my Granddaughter and the atv on fire! . Be very wary of where you buy products on Amazon I have reached out to the company that made the product but have not had a reply.

Easy to bend. Stops all the heat from the exhaust.

It's a little long for my Muffler but I was able to cut it down to size with a knife and tin snips. There's a sheet metal core inside the Silicon that helps mold it to the shape of your exhaust
