This Sebo Duo P cleaning powder can be used for spot cleaning or general area carpet cleaning, you simply sprinkle it over the carpet, brush it in, leave it for 30 minutes or so and vacuum clean away the dry powder.I have used it on a months old red wine stain on a cream carpet, and while it did take some elbow grease with a scrubbing brush, it did the job and removed the stain surprisingly well.I have used it to clean entire carpets and it works well. You really need to use either the Sebo Daisy (a manual brush on an extendible handle with wheels) to brush in the powder or use the Sebo Duo (an electric machine with two very dense scrubbing brushes)This is a low moisture cleaning method, so the powder is not dry, but slightly moist. It means less likelihood of damage to your carpet and Sebo claim several benefits to this method. This does require that you have a good vacuum cleaner however to thoroughly remove the dry powder afterwards. A cleaner with a rotating brush, preferably an electronically powered one, such as a Sebo or Miele I would recommend.The powder works well with the Daisy brush but this is still a fair bit of work. I may spring for the Duo machine which is no doubt much more effective, and little or no effort.You can vacuum clean, scrub the Duo P, allow to dry and vacum away the powder in under an hour so the room is not out of use for as long as wet extraction and can be done much more often without risking damage.It can be a little messy and cleaning up the powder does require a thorough effort to avoid missing any. I do like this method however and will continue to use it.

Must admit I have used Sebo products in the past, but never this ingenious box.It does what it says, sprinkle a little onto the area needed then brush into the carpet. It removes stains and grubbiness within 20 minutes. I bought it to use in our static caravan, the seat covers were grimy. Worked a treat, and I would most definetly use/buy again. Like the box with brush as only need to buy the powder next time, saving on costs and trying to be more recycling aware.Good product, but have to say so are most Sebo products.

Had just cleaned a pale cream carpet with a carpet cleaning machine, but there were still some marks showing. That'll teach me not to have such a pale colour again in a high traffic area. anyway, decided to try this product as I had seen it offered when purchasing a Sebo vacuum cleaner. Really didn't expect much, but this was a last ditch effort to avoid buying a new carpet.Well, what a surprise. This stuff actually worked really well and without too much hard work. Also amount of product used was less than expcted, so loads left to clean up any marks that appear later on.Very pleased to find a product that exceeded my expectations.

It worked after several applications - removed a stubborn stain

I loved this product for a general clean of the carpet, really bought my light purple carpet back to life . Not that good on spot stains but for general grubbiness really worth doing.
