Very nice high quality product. Some reviews about how the whistle isn't loud enough to hear unless your are right next to it proved to be false for me. It's not as loud as other kettles I've owned but those quit frankly seems louder than necessary for me.I actually prefer a lower volume whistle as if and when I come down with a head cold or sinus trouble, hovering over the kettle and breathing in the steam is one of the best ways I get relief. Most other kettles too loud to do that for long. And I can hear this one two rooms away without issue.It's also a beautiful product. I find myself polishing the outside with just a a cloth every time I use it just to keep that mirror finish perfect. LOL. It's just that good looking that I think it deserves it.Completely satisfied so far. Only had it for a few weeks but it's been used a lot. Bought while I was home dealing with a sinus infection and the steam was such a relief. From the looks of it, this product looks like it will last.

The first few times I used it, it never whistled at all. I thought it was broken. But it works beautifully, whistles when it's done, and i love it. I just pour it into my thermos when it's done and i have hot tea all day.

I chose this kettle after reading reviews on a lot of them. I didn't want to pay this much, but I'm glad I did. This is way nicer than a $20 kettle. The metal feels heavier, and it's so well-balanced and easy for my arthritic hands to manage. I like a kettle that can be filled at the spout with a lever on the handle like this one. I also like that the spout cover is not plastic. I don't heat my water on high, so I expect it to last for years. I also do not empty and dry the kettle every time I use it. I leave whatever water is in it and add to it as needed. Yet I have not noticed any discoloration or floaties. I have to wonder if that issue, mentioned by some other reviewers, isn't due more to their water than to the kettle. My one small issue is that the whistle is not loud enough to hear from out of the room, but I seldom put it on unless I'm in the kitchen doing something, so that's not a deal breaker for me. Overall, a great kettle and worth the price.

Bought this for a birthday present on 26th of.May and soo it is too late to return BUT save yourselfthe money. The whistle is barely audible, the neck leaks, the handle gets toohot to handle. It is a real Chinese piece of junk.Looks good though.

Its the perfect size

Have been trying to find a decent replacement for my Revere Ware copper bottom tea kettle to use on our induction range. At least this one is actually induction compatible. Filling it is difficult, you have to remove the top cover to fill it. The cover needs to be tight to prevent steam heating the handle and burning your hand. That makes the cover difficult to remove. Why manufacturers decided they needed a top cover is beyond me. With the cover, the spout angle has to be changed, making it more difficult to pour and impossible to fill via the spout. Back to using a pot to heat tea water

I really like my new kettle. It is smart looking on my stove. Easy to fill and pour the hot water. The kettle whistle is loud enough to hear but not startling. It is easy to clean and the handle fits my hand readily so l feel secure when pouring the boiling water into my mug. Great buy.
