Handy small pump
Handy pump. Great for keeping water flowing in my 7-gallon bee pond. Optional block filter that is avalable in some kits helps keep algae from reaching the pump's internal filter clear longer. A 20-foot cord would've made it ideal for my backyard use, which is why this review is missing a star.

Poor Product Planning by Danner
I ordered this pump for a small fountain and to go with a Danner Flat Filter box. I picked this pump because it was the only one I could find that appeared to have an inlet nozzle (hidden behind the plastic inlet screen). Apparently Danner doesn't believe in standardizing from one of their products to another. The inlet nozzle on the pump is threaded and much smaller than the outlet nozzle on the filter box. The filter box comes equipped with a slip-fit nozzle and short piece of connector hose, garden hose size. I could probably go to Home Depot and find an appropriate adapter, but just don't want to take the time. Danner needs to spend some time checking for and providing for compatibility between their various products. Also it would help if in their product descriptions they included specific inlet and outlet configurations (slip fit, threaded, etc.) and dimensions for users to select the correct hose sizes. It didn't matter to me, but the pump package did include a small plastic "L" intended to go on the outlet nozzle of the pump. However, the outlet nozzle is threaded and the "L" has a female slip fit -- they don't work together.

good pump so far
I've had danner pumps for years this one works great, I also have 3 of 12 and one 18 only thing I have a problem with is breaking impeller shaft and wearing out the cover at least once a year. I have other pumps with ceramic shafts that have not broken in 2 or 3 years

Danner pump
This is the exact pump that I wanted. I had ordered one back in the begining of the summer. It worked out so well that I ordered the same pump again. My only question is why was it more expensive then the one I had bought earlier in the summer. Otherwise, I am satisfied with it.

Small but Powerful pump
The pump is quiet and surprisingly powerful. The pump comes fully set up. All you do is attach the hoses and plug it in

A Good Little Pump
Its predecessor lasted about 6 years in our pond, an excellent buy and pump.
