The motor ( or other loads ) and the VFD can only be connected by wire without anything between （eg. No switch can be installed between them).If you want to use the switch to control the load, please refer to the following method to connect the terminals. Be aware that using a VFD to power your motor from a 110 outlet will reduce the HP output of the motor. **Q: Can this VFD be used to run a 110v single phase motor?** A: No. This VFD is made to run a 3 phase 220v motor from a 110v single phase power source. **Q: Where do you find a 110v 3 phase motor? That would only be 55v on each leg. Don’t know yet how durable it is time will tell. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works good *by S***B on June 27, 2024* Revived an old washing machine with this ### ⭐ Smoked after a dozen uses *by A***N on July 28, 2024* It seemed to be awesome until I used it for a few hours. Then it started smoking. I was in the middle of a job and it started acting up giving an error of LU-u which indicates a low input voltage. That was not the case, the voltage checked out fine even under the acceleration load. The manual suggested that I increase the acceleration time, so I bumped it up quite a bit. It still gave the error so I tried a crazy long acceleration time. Then the smoke came out, at that point I gave up. The drive always seemed under powered and now I know why it was so inexpensive. I would stay away from this unit as it seems to not be capable of lasting mor than just a few uses.
