I was specifically looking for reusable silicone bags suitable for sous vide cooking.Initially, when I searched for "reusable silicone bags," this product didn’t show up. I ended up buying two other brands, but they were only designed for basic food storage. They also had a strong plastic smell and were not safe for cooking.So, I searched again—this time focusing on durable silicone bags—and that’s when I found Ziploc Endurables. I’m so glad I did! These bags are thick, high-quality, and truly versatile—safe for the freezer, oven, microwave, and dishwasher. No plastic smell....Yes, they’re a bit more expensive than other options, but the quality and durability make them absolutely worth it.

Perfect for freezing poultry, fish or meat portions bought in bulk. Each one is meal-sized for 2 in my kitchen. These work well, are easy enough to hand wash and I don't think about plastic leeching into the food. I don't cook in them or use them for storing/freezing liquids, so I can't comment on those things.

I wasn’t able to sell my kids or fiancé on keeping ice, let alone food in these when they all commented that it tasted like rubber. I didn’t think it was so bad, but when they are dumbing the bags out for throw away, then I’m wasting more resources by using these first and having to wash them prior to going back to the disposable bag. I think I’ll use them for some stuff that is just for me, but it doesn’t look like anyone in my family will be using these again anytime soon.

These are my new go to for storage in the freezer and then out for cooking. Super heavy duty, has the little footies on the bottom so they are a pouch, and I just love the way you can cook in them on the stove or microwave. Use to heat cheese even!

I received the large size when I ordered some ziploc bags in a bundle, I used it to save my pasta sauce that takes me all day to make, yesterday I took it out of the freezer to prepare it for dinner and the sauce was perfect, no leaks and had been maintained perfectly. I did not want to put the bag in the dishwasher so first I used scalding hot water inside and out to dissolve any grease residue, then used dawn dishsoap to scrub it inside and out as well, it came clean but still had slight staining and maintained a bit of the sauce oder which I didn't like at all. I had purchased a set of other bags from a different brand which came in all sizes in a big bundle, very inexpensive which I thought probably wouldn't hold up, but they did very well, no odors, no staining, perfect for freezing, reheating, storage, oven safe. The only real difference in these bags is they are much thicker and actually. hold less because of that which is why the 3 stars on top.

I first found these on clearance at Publix. Bought and put away. Made the mistake of giving my kids most of them to take to college to use as ice packs etc. Started using them myself and fell in love! I had another brand of reusable bag and they were hard to use, a very brittle material, so I never used. These are fantastic though! Very pliable and zip up nicely. I went back to Publix and bought the last of them and also ordered more on Amazon. I'm slowly decanting my frozen groceries from their bags (ie frozen vegetables and my Morningstar sausages etc) into these guys. Because the material is so pliable, everything fits nicely in the freezer. They zip up nicely. They stay like brand new, unlike the regular Ziplok freezer bags. I run them through the dishwasher and hang outside to dry. Highly recommend these! Also, they make great ice packs :)

Narrow opening, material stains after use. Not worth money.
