desertcart.com: Flo Mask Pro (Medium/High Nose Bridge) - Reusable Adult Mask, Includes 10 Replacement Filters Made in USA, Washable, Easy Breathing, Adjustable Head Straps, Soft and Comfortable : Health & Household Review: With the Everyday filter, it's as if I'm not even wearing a mask - I did a lot of research before settling on this mask. My main reasons for choosing it were that despite its high filtration, it breathes remarkably well. I read that the elastomeric worked well with beards. Everything but the filter is washable. It works well with glasses. This reputation stands firm. And for the most part, I truly love this mask. Because I have a physically active job, I've only ever worn the Everyday filter (Not the Pro filters, which I'm saving for especially confined spaces). But I can say that if it weren't for the condensation and the fact that it does block some of my vision around my cheeks and nose, I would forget I was wearing it. It's pretty comfortable, the elastomeric gasket resting on my chin, rather than wrapping around it. I can achieve a good seal despite my beard, which still amazes me a year after I started wearing this mask. The nosepiece of my glasses fit perfectly into a notch on the bridge of the Flomask. They never fall off like they used to do when I wore paper and cloth masks. I don't need any apparatus to hold my glasses on my head now as I did then. The mask and glasses no longer compete for the same spaces. The mask attaches to a person's head with two bands, neither of which use the ears. Nor do I struggle with the constant fogging issues I used to have with other masks. The seal is that good. I even like the profile of the mask, which doesn't block as much of my vision as disposable masks do. I do wish that the company offered a completely black version of it, filters and all. And a fair bit of condensation collects on the inside, especially on hot days. One can mitigate that by purchasing separate foam inserts that collect the liquid around the edges of the mask. Often a foam insert will get so overwhelmed by liquid that it will fall on my nose or crumple in an odd way inside the mask. On my breaks I have to gently wring out the moisture into a paper towel and wipe out the mask. Unfortunately, the foam inserts can pop out of the mask and get lost in the process of putting on or taking off. Nothing actually holds that piece in place. Though there are some elastomeric masks that can use any kind of filter, this is not one of them. The Flomask requires its own proprietary filters. But the great thing is that one of these filters can be used up to 3 days, not just one. The Flomask, at least to me, appears to be one of the most comfortable options out there for preventing the spread of respiratory illness. And comfort is a big factor in whether or not a person will continue to do something that is quite frankly out of their way. If only this company would come up with a similarly comfortable cpap mask... Review: The best heavy duty mask! - I am disabled and high risk, so masking is now a permanent part of public life. I have a small face and chin but with a big nose, and adult sized masks have never fit me. For disposable masks, I have only ever gotten a good fit/seal from children's KN95's. I have tried both the Gata (kid's size) elastomeric and the Breathe99 elastomeric. The Gata did not seal around my nose well. The Breathe99 has a better seal but I found it difficult to breathe through the heavy fabric and the frame pressed against my nose and cheeks. The Flo Mask, while coming with a very hefty price tag, is by far the best of all the masks I have tried. The seal is perfect around my nose thanks to the condensation insert, however that does have the ability to shift around inside, so be aware of that. The straps are comfortable and I appreciate the anti slip pattern on the upper one. It is easy to don and doff, and the breathability is by far superior to any other mask I've tried, even with the pro filter inserted. One of my favorite aspects and the main reason for me splurging on this mask was the fact that I can install a Sip Mask drinking port in it with slight interior modification. I saw on their Twitter that you can cut bits of the frame inside to accommodate a larger than average nose, so I thought why not try it for this! And it works pretty dang well! Just be careful not to be too rough and insert the port a bit higher to make sure it doesn't pull the filter out of place. It also is great to decorate! Highly recommend for all my fellow disabled individuals :)

The best heavy duty mask!

Not bad
Made very well, comfortable, off gassed quickly. Just not quite enough masking ability. Lookin gfor different filter for it.

Protect yourself *and* keep people away at the same time
These are excellent. Easy to don, with a better seal and more comfortable than vertical-folding N95s. Cheap. Also, they look serious enough that people sometimes think I have a virus myself and make room. Great for getting around the grocery with minimum fuss. Also, my neighbor, who listens to too many podcasts, is convinced that viruses aren't real. When he sees me wearing one of these in the hallway, he gets very upset. Totally worth every penny. I would wear one now anyway.

Very comfortable mask, and effective
This is my go-to mask. It's very comfortable and does the job.

Best mask yet.
I’ve been looking for a properly sealed mask that is comfortable and makes me feel safe and this is it. I have been using 3M Aura masks for a while but still didn’t feel like they properly sealed around the face. Especially when I have facial hair. But with the Flo mask I can go a while without having to shave and it stays sealed. Only getting filtered air in and out. And with the pro filters lasting up to 40 hours I can wear one filter for a week of work instead of upwards of ten a week with the aura masks. Saves money and creates less waste. Yes the initial investment is a lot but I can assure you it is worth it. I paid around $60 for three months of aura masks and that same amount will cover close to a years work of their filters. The only caveat of this mask is since it is molded in a certain shape it’s not going to fit every one properly. Other than that. Do not hesitate to get this mask.

More comfortable, breathable and adjustable than disposable masks
As someone who wants to protect myself as much as I can when indoors with others, I’d been eyeing the Flomask for a while. I also use earloop KN95s and headstrap N95s and the Flomask is more comfortable, easier to breathe through, and of course more durable than either. The foam strip works well to collect condensation and unlike other high-quality masks, my glasses did not fog up, even in super humid conditions. I did notice myself tightening the straps frequently to maintain the same fit, and one disadvantage over disposables is that you can't easily scratch your nose through it, but those are small tradeoffs. This is my new go-to mask!

This is a good product in that I feel mostly protected and the straps allow me to keep my glasses on. There is also enough space in the mask that I can easily breathe (and sing). However, the inside foam gasket keeps coming out and it is incredibly annoying. It also means the efficacy of the mask is degraded by its inability to stay in place.

I bought my first Flo mask in 2021 and was very satisfied. it was always "gappy" so when time came to buy a new one I bought the other size and its still very "gappy". The quality of the mask is now HORRIBLE. It's cheap and so flimsy and fragile and the mesh that goes inside is even harder for it to stay where it's supposed to be than my original one. It gets soggy almost immediately and have to wear it so tight, I have marks on my face. I will literally have to buy another brand and chuck it in the garbage because it is UNUSABLE. It is a shame that instead of improving, they decided to make a cheapo crap mask instead. The idea of it could have been great if they had improved the original mask and fix that inner insert problem which never stayed in place. At least the first year, it was never soggy as compared to the new one. What is the point of buying (at this point I bought the TWO sizes and NONE fits cmon!) that does not fit and is way worse than the original model which needed to be improved upon.

The straps MELTED??? I Stored in a dark/dry place to use during MRIs.. I found out that the straps melted. Mask often gets very wet from condensation (even with the foam inserts). It is otherwise a comfortable mask. But the strap issue and condensation need to be fixed

When you wear this is looks like you're a horse with a feed bucket on and people assume it is fetish wear.
