I'm ordering a second one today for a gift.More:We had an older cat that was ill that started peeing on a closet carpet. My old UV flash light was one of these cheap 12 LED 395nm black lights (3x AAA battery) that at the time of purchase cost $20 and now are $8 on Amazon or $12 for 2. It had a battery leak and couldn't be saved. I bought this new TactEagle UVA-T1 light ($26, 1x AA battery) because it had good reviews, and also because I had read that the 365nm lights work well for cat pee.The new light is simply amazing. It picked up where there had been cat pee (and puke) even though a carpet cleaning machine had gone over the spot multiple times. It actually picked up spots -all- over are carpeted areas (the light beige carpet, while in good shape, was installed most than 17 years ago). That's the only downside. It picked up so much that I really don't know how to find the area that is currently smelly. Well, it's time for a professional carpet cleaner next week...The light also worked really well on picking up the hidden images on my California drivers license. This light would worked great for a bouncer at a bar. I just ran it over the new US $100 bill and a red security stripe lit up. I'm curious what else I can use it on. Ok, I bought it for a purpose but its also been amuzing.It also seems to reflect off dust and imperfections by creating white highlights were on my walls that were painted dark colors. It doesn't matter, but it was interesting.I rated this light a '5' for battery life, but I haven't tested battery life yet, but it reportedly lasts for an hour or 90 minutes. A black light doesn't need to be used much, and I prefer it work well than poorly but for a long time.Besides working > 10x better than my old black light, it also has a stylish design. I was a tad surprised (but not disappointed) how small it is. It's only 4" long and about 5/6" in diameter. It would fit easily in a pocket or a purse.My mother has cats... I'm buying her one of these today.I rarely write reviews on Amazon, but did today since I'm happy with this product.

I picked this up after seeing someone review it for everything. I actually didn't find many reviews regarding resin in the comments here. I work with small items so I don't need an entire light, this works great for my small pieces like pendants. Cures my resin properly without issue. Very durable. The case that holds it ripped out of the box the moment I put the flashlight in. Looks like the stitch wasn't completed, but that's a minor complaint and doesn't affect the use of this in general.

Well made and the price was right. Will purchase again as a gift for friends.

The beam was strong enough to see red fluorescence from shade-adapted plant leaves at twilight. I liked that it uses a single AA battery with a claimed battery life of 1 hour. I've used it about 20 minutes so far. The instructions claim that it will also work with a rechargeable NiMH 1.2V AA battery. I haven't tried that.Comes with wrist strap and heavy nylon sheath with belt loop.

I bought this as a skin surface disinfectant. It heats the skin slightly if left shining on it, and my other light uv light does not. A few seconds is probably as long as one should shine it on skin.The build quality is on par with other nice aluminum flashlights.

Amazing little light! After walking around my home I realize the unseen filth we all live in daily. Really nice dark light beam that highlites everything it is supposed to. Some cheaper lights are so so , this one is not, it’s a in your face kinda light!

I bought this for finding scorpions, millipedes and other fluorescent creatures at night. While I did manage to find a few, they didn't glow until I was practically standing on top of them. Once I was standing over them or crouching down they did have a nice glowing effect, but this light was useless for actually finding any of these since you have to be so close for them to start glowing. At that point, it would have been easier to find them with a normal flashlight and then shine the light just to get the effect, which is NOT what I bought the product for. I also tried using it inside a hotel room, and noticed that stains and pet dander didn't start glowing much until I was about 2 feet away. This light would still be good for inspecting items on a table or in your hand like a gem collection, but it's not good for finding fluorescent objects further away.I would like to return this item for a refund. The store's policy states 30 day money back returns and I picked up the item from an amazon locker on May 10th. It's June 9th as I'm writing this which is within the 30 day period of receiving this item, but amazon says this item isn't eligible for returns. Please contact me for how to return this item and honor the 30 day guarantee.

This is an interesting flashlight that seems well made. But if you want to reveal where your dog has peed on your carpets, you may be disappointed with the way the flashlight worsk. The stains barely show up in the flashlight light, and you may be unsure whether or not there is a stain. Works better on hard surfaces. But my issue was carpets, and I would not buy this flashlight again to reveal stains on them.

Perfect picket sized uv light for beach combing. Battery lasts a looong time. Ive just replaced it for the 1st time since getting it in the spring. Very bright and perfect for night combing or scouring the 2nd Hand Stores for Vasoline Glass

We bought this for rock hounding. It works great. Awesome quality.
