Great cheap mufflers
Very distinct sound, almost like bullets, But not as loud when cruising, look kinda neat. Quality is great. Still look new after 5k miles.

Nice and cheap
The media could not be loaded. Great sound less drone than a cherry bomb and quiet at idle

Great addition to Borla muffler
I own an Acura ILX and did a resonator delete along with a new Borla muffler...sounded great but there was a loud drone with highway speeds. Having twin babies, this wasn't too favorable for them. 2yrs pass and the welds fail due to rust. I end up getting this resonator to tone down the drone I had previously. Now with a Borla muffler and this resonator, the rumble is still there but the drone is gone. When I remote start my car from inside, I used to be able to hear the exhaust and I'm sure my neighbors did too. It's a lot more tame during cold starts and idle, but still a nice deep sound on throttle. Well worth the purchase and I'm happy with the outcome.

Works great, but not perfect
Prior to installing this muffler/resonator, my car had custom exhaust with one straight-through muffler. Sounded amazing - not raspy/ricey at all - and the 4-cylinder with relatively small displacement punched way above it's weight class. That said, it was a bit loud (wore earplugs) and had drone around 3K RPM (which I got used to). After approximately a year I decided to make the car more neighborhood friendly and went with this muffler/resonator.For the price, this is a great product with unique style and design. That said, the spiral internal baffle is not as pronounced as shown in the product photo. Also, the construction is not quite as solid as I'd prefer, though it makes the muffler/resonator lighter. Another nice feature is that this is stainless-steel-wool-packed, not glass-packed; so it'll last a lot longer. It removed the drone across the entire RPM band, particularly at 3K. Now drone free, which is nice; but it also removed a lot of the unique exhaust notes that weren't responsible for the drone, resulting in a sporty yet tame muffled sound - which is why I call this a muffler/resonator, because it decreased the decibels and altered the exhaust frequencies quite drastically. Basically, the car went from sounding like an exotic V8 to a sporty V8; still very impressive for a 4-cylinder. I didn't like that the exhaust notes were diminished, but it's acceptable and makes the car more neighborhood friendly. Even with the two mufflers/resonators - both are straight-through - plumbed in series, there appeared to be no change in performance. The car is now quiet enough that it's comfortable to drive without earplugs.

Great sound, fairly inexpensive.
Sounds way different from the stock resonator deeper, and gives it a very good tone when on the throttle. it is quiet as can be at idle. Smaller than I thought it would be but not a big deal for me as it's in the middle of the car.

Very raspy the packing material is lightly packed.
It looks cool welds nice but took it off and cut it in half to see the packing material after hearing the rasp from it a very metallic sound and I was disappointed about the little amount of packing material. Do your self a favor cut the seams pull the guts and repack sounds much better if you do so. For the price id say it isn't a good buy unless you want rasp.

good quality resonator
This will be loud if used alone. It has an aggressive tone and I used it as a resonator with a single chamber muffler behind it. Running through a 486 big block , it has a growl and easy to weld.
