Useful molds for ice marbles and reverse spherication!
I was not sure what to expect, but these spherical molds worked out very well.I made flavored ice with them and also used them for a molecular gastronomy recipe involving reverse spherification. The ice spheres will form with a slightly flat side because the mold is open on one side, but it's not that noticeable when you have a bunch of them in a glass. With reverse spherication, the flat edge does not affect the resulting spheres at all.It was very easy to pop the spheres out, and the molds were easy to clean. If you have a dropper or syringe, it's easier to avoid overflowing the molds.

Exactly what I was looking for.
I wanted to make some sort of frozen treat from my premixed diet protein shakes to make them less boring and inrease the time it takes to consume them. These molds work perfectly! The marble-sized frozen treats pop right out and they're just the size I was looking for. Now my only problem is getting my kid to leave some for me! I'm going to order additional sets soon so I can freeze a lot more at once . Next time I'll try them with fruit-and-veggie smoothies so they can eat as much of those as they want. Note: I wouldn't give the frozen treats to very young children because of the marble size and shape, but they melt quickly in the mouth and I feel comfortable giving them to my older kid.

Love this little mold
I actually used this to make my own "dip'n'dots". Melt ice cream and place into mold, refreeze, dip in melted chocolate and refreeze again or eat as is. The size made biting into it very satisfying.

Good results, but messy to fill...
These are very well made ice trays/molds. The silicon is thick and well molded. I use them for ice trays to produce beautiful small round spheres. I suppose filling from the sink would be easy, but I use filtered water from a bottle and that makes it a bit messy. Popping the balls out from the back is easy once one does it a few times.

Perfect for coconut oil and EO capsules
I've made a couple batches of lady capsules made of coconut oil, tea tree oil and lavender and so far they turned out perfect. Nice material, easy to use and perfect for it's intended purpose. Much less expensive than buying the capsules in the store!!

The idea is good but the balls don't come out nice and round.
Soft silicon mold makes it easy to extract the ice balls. When you fill the mold with water, top it off slightly and you will see a round shape on top of each hole due to the cohesion of water. However, the balls are not perfect when they came out. Another issue is that it's extremely hard and tedious to clean if you fill the mold with anything other than water. The idea is great but actual usage is not so much.

It's going to work perfectly for making Carp baits!
Ok, this probably isn't what most of you are using this mold for! But I'm working on a food based recipe for Carp Fishing baits that would be far easier to make than boilies and better for the environment than artificial lures. I chose this mold because how many baits it can make in a single pour. So far, it's great!

Simply delightful
These make the cutest ice balls! And it is simpler to use than expected; the flexible material makes it easy to pop out the ice and refill.
