As an avid camper, I’m always getting bit by one bug or another, so some form of ‘bug bite relief’ is essential to have in the first aid kit. So when I saw these ‘Bug Bite Relief Patches’ by Medagel on Amazon, I figured they would be worthwhile.The patches do definitely help relieve the stinging or itching from a common bug bite. And the relief lasts a pretty long time…it’s averaged about 3-4 hours for me. I’ve had no skin irritation from the patches as a lot of the other purchasers seem to have had. And the patches are easy to apply…just like a bandage. They sometimes do have trouble staying stuck, though, especially on moist or sweaty skin.My only real complaint about these ‘Medagel Bug Bite Relief Patches’ is the size….they’re quite small in my opinion. They really will only cover and take care of a small mosquito bite. Anything bigger…and you know skin swells in a large area from a lot of bug bites….they don’t work on. Too bad they don’t come bigger.But I definitely will leave these ‘Bug Bite Relief Patches’. In my RV first aid kit. They do work and are easy to use.

These patches seemed to stop the itching, but they caused severe skin irritation that lasted several weeks. I have used lidocaine patches in the past with no problems, so I guess the irritation must have been caused by other ingredients.

Weird that it says chemical-free on this listing, yet it contains 2% lidocaine. Packaging doesn’t state chemical-free. Nevertheless, no complaints from me on that point!The lidocaine and arnica combo to provide relief is top-notch. I got 10 bites last night, put these stickies on in the morning, and went 8h itch-free! Happy me!I’m planning to stock up on these because bug bites normally swell to 3” and bruise, but so far, it’s still small. I’ll take it.

Sensitive skin & I tolerated it very well - left on for about 8 hours - removed & no evidence of treatment or bite! Like magic - I wouldn't have believed it, but I'm definitely going to try this again!! :-)

This is my first ever Amazon review. I feel very remorseful for applying/ trusting this product on my kids who are super sensitive to mosquitoes. These left nasty welts on BOTH of my children. You can tell a the regular bite from the one where the patch was applied. It turned a mild bite into a nasty welt the diameter of the patch. I threw them away immediately after. I will never use these again. 10 days later i am still treating the areas for scarring as the areas are raw.

Never use this product it harms the skin and ensd up making it worst...DO NOT BUY this ever it creates a biger wound and makes it worst and worst

These work great and I love them over creams you need to reapply over and over again. Really helps the area heal. My kids have terrible reactions to mosquito bites so it’s nice to have these on hand.

Mosquitos seem to flock toward me - so much so that I tend to avoid even being outside in the evening (when they seem to attack the worst). I use sprays and home remedies to keep them away, but if there's even one area not covered, that's where they bite. So, I tried these patches. I still spray and treat my skin before going out, but these help tremendously with that one spot the little bloodsuckers find. These stop the itch almost immediately and they help with swelling as well. One mosquito bite can swell quite large on me, but I don't have that problem when I cover the spot with one of these. The only complaint I have is that these are pretty small and there are only 18 in the pack for just under 15 bucks. That can get expensive after a while. Nevertheless, they do work, and unless I find something more economical that works as well, I'll be using these.
