Seems to work, but difficulty installing
I got the gauge itself in easily enough, and it seems to be reading fuel correctly. But I could not get the metal retaining ring to fit over the rubberized/plastic mount for the gauge. I don't know if the ring supplied with this kit was produced out of tolerance on the low end, or if the mount has swelled with age - seems like something that should have been accounted for, with these older ATVs (which it probably is if you're replacing the fuel gauge). Anyways, I was able to get it on after putting one cut in the vertical wall of the retaining ring with a pair of tin snips. Still a snug fit... looks a little kludgey but my Bayou is a 2nd hand p.o.s. anyways.

This gage simply does not work.
It’s pretty, but that’s it. The float is too tight on the mechanism. So it wont work.
