The big plastic gasoline containers can be bought without the separate screw-on pour spouts, however, using a funnel to transfer fuel can get messy, and be dangerous. Often the ones sold with the container are a poor fit, expensive, and leak anyway.This particular item is assembled from off the shelf hardware parts, so it doesn't cost a lot, and if used correctly it doesn't leak a drop.

The rubber the tube is made from is too thin to work with the elbow it came with. It pinches it closed and the fuel can barely flow. I’m sure without the elbow it will be fine. Plus the diameter of the plastic ends seem to be a little small too.

This is not a real VP racing brand product, the hose is a thin poor quality and kinks when you try and pour the fuel. Also, the plastic strainer restricts the flow of fuel and take twice the amount of time to fill. These do exactly what they say. They are quite narrow but that is to fit a standard road going vehicle fuel pipe with non-return valve etc.If you have a motorsport after-market tank and fat fuel pipe then you will be looking for something else.
