The main thing for me is the quality and how it looks is a very close second. I have had it plugged since it was delived a couple of months ago and it works fine. The outlet has a high-quality cord and it needs no connection, just designed for plug-in. At first I did not want the USB ports but they will actually come in handy-though I have not tested yet-I don't suspect any surprises. The sockets on this power grommet are aligned side-by-side so the cords of items plugged in don't block the use of the other socket (like so many of these types of units-so I was very happy to find a power grommet like this one that is lined up thoughtfully.The price is the best I have seen. I saw another vendor's website and they want 10 times the price I paid for this one and to make matters worse this other vendor has flooded my PC with their unwanted publicity. I am very happy with the professionalism of the firm where I bought this device.and the delivery came in ahead of schedule.

No issues that I can think of. Easy to install. Doesn't seem to get hot with multiple things plugged into it. Works great.

I made a long shelf behind a sofa to be used as a sofa "table" because there is no room to have and end table. I cut a hole in the wood so that the outlet would fit down in it and be flush with the top of the shelf. The cord is very long so it easily reached the wall outlet. Very easy installation and does the job perfectly. Now while sitting on the sofa, you can plug in your electronic devices and they are within reach.

EDIT: they sent a replacement, so i updated my review to reflect customer service accommodations. New one worksLooks great in our island, however one of the outlets stopped working after 3 months of use

Perfect for what I needed. Used it to replace the one that came on a Vanity I got of Amazon for my wife. It had USB 2.0 and all phones are now USB C so I swapped this in and it fit perfectly.

Works great and perfect fit!

UPDATE: I bought this to mount on a table top behind my sofa. It worked great. Easy to just plug in and use once I cut out the hole in the table. BUT, about 6 months down the road, the USB ports stopped working! So now I have a power strip that has only 2 working outlets. I refuse to buy the same brand again but I’m also having trouble finding another power strip that is similar in size so I don’t have to recut the hole in my table...

Update: after cutting and installing the unit, the USB ports don’t charge for more than 30 seconds. I’m returning and will give the outlet one more try.works great for the back of drawers. 2 challenges are managing the cord when opening and closing the drawer and measuring/cutting the opening for the outlet. I suggest a paper template that could be tapped onto wood, showing the cut lines. For managing the cord, I haven't figured out the best solution, and I know for 300+ more dollars, you can buy an outlet with an arm to manage this, but I'm hoping that with some guides, we will manage.
