Hasbro Ratchet Premium Finish Transformers SS-04 Studio Series Action Figure

I bought this for my grandson’s birthday. He is into anything dragons or transformers. He hasn’t stop playing with it since his birthday on May 1st! So, I guess he loves it!

This is has got to be one of the most accurate figures you can get that is based around the original 2007 Film, however there are a few small nitpicks which the buyer should consider before purchase 1. While in Robot mode the “Back pack” is shockingly large and proves to stop the figure from moving his legs backwards without having the backpack move with it. It is better then other figures however this is something to take into account. 2. Lack of accessories, This figure only comes with a buzz saw which is disappointing considering the price tag. In the 2007 film Ratchet has at least one other “Blaster” type weapon which could have also been included 3. The knee joints are surprisingly strong, Small children may have trouble moving them. I do understand this serves a purpose as it holds up most of the figures weight and stops it from toppling over but it almost feels “too strong” 4. If your shopping for a child under the age of 12 I would look for something with more play features as this is specifically designed around film accuracy and not play. Overall if you are a big transformers fan this is a must have, the figure looks great in both vehicle and robot form and makes a great display piece.
