So,the husband SAYS they run small. I, on the other hand, am not blind and he's just gotten fat. They run perfectly according to size.They are a fairly heavy, durable material that's soft to the touch.Colors are great.I have had no problem washing the unknown schmegma my husband gets into at work out if these. The did shrink a little in the wash, but not enough to make them tight.Great shorts.

If you expect these shorts to be high end, you will be disappounted. What they are is simple and plain, but fairly good looking shorts.Material is very good, stiching is 6 out of 10, and the zipper is just OK. So, are these $50 shorts? No, and they don't pretend to be. These are $20 shorts made in Vietnam and that's all. If you get 3 years out of them, you've done well. The $50 shorts won't last much longer, I've had them.With washing, these get real soft and comfortable. They fit fine, right on the money for sizing. I'm happy wirh mine.

Fantastic shorts! Well made and heavyweight, very much like how Wrangler used to make shorts.I will agree with others dislike of the use of buttons and their placement instead velcro or snaps but it doesn't bother me enough to take off a star.Comfortable and fits right. I like it!

These are an extraordinarily well constructed pair of men's shorts -- almost tailored, if I can use such a word in this day and age. Both legs are the same length (what a concept!) and the pockets actually have buttons! No velcro! Which gets covered with lint and wrinkles and puckers and ultimately makes the entire part of shorts look rumpled and even dirty. The fabric is real fabric, the length for my 6ft1in husband is perfect (despite the fact that he is now wearing a size 38 waist! Yikes!) I mention the waist size because as his waist size continues to, uh, change, I can't tell whether it's a true 38 or whether it runs small, etc. At $20-something these shorts are 100% better than the ones I bought a few months ago at Costco which are now faded with pocket tabs covered in lint due to the velcro. Whoever invented that stuff???!!!

Previously, I had purchased a pair of these shorts in blue, love them, they fit great. Unfortunately, the tan pair did not fit, very tight in the crotch, must be a different manufacturer. Had to return to Amazon.

Quality and thick fabric shorts. Only thing I didn't like was the button pockets to close, I'd rather have a zipper or Velcro pocket. But great price and quality fabric. Fits nice and they are comfortable.

I now have 4 pairs of these. Of course different colours lol. Anyway they all fit to a tee. I use their sizing chart and is to my size. My first pair I bought a year ago, the colour after so many washes the colour is still pretty good. They last long. Very well made and the price is decent. I will keep buying them.
