This is awesome, but a little finicky.
I bought this for my kid's birthday party. It was a complete hit and we've been having snow cones ever since just because they are so good and it's fun to make. The only item I would add as a caution is that it is somewhat finicky when shaving the ice. It does well with ice fresh out of the freezer....don't let it sit even just for a few moments. If the ice is "slick" the blades don't grab it and shave it. I also found that there is a sweet spot for the amount of ice to put in the machine itself. There needs to be enough, but not overloaded. Once you know your machine, it'll be great! Just a few minutes and everybody has a cool treat. :-)

Good but small opening
It works good and shaves ice fast. The opening to get the shaved ice out is small and makes it a little difficult to get the ice out. I'm thinking of sending it back. I can't imagine trying to scoop a bunch out for a larger group.

Doesn't work :(
I was so excited after reading the reviews however if doesn't work and I bought for my daughter's bday. I'll be returning it hopefully get something else
