Works great
Works better than I expected. My dog likes the flavor and eats it like a treat. One pill works for 1-2 days. Gave it to my dog for a full month and that broker her of the bad habit.

These are horrible!
I bought these for my dog to use to keep her from eating her poop. She threw up the first time I gave them to her, and I just thought maybe it was something she ate earlier in the day. The second day I gave them to her she became violently ill. They will not take returns, and this medicine is not good for your dog. I talked with my vet, and he told me not to get these again. It wouldn’t let me bypass the rating so I had to choose one star, but it should be a negative star.

Doesn't work
My young dog never ate her poop until later. I tried this product since it had the same ingredients as the Vet's formula. He told me he had a couple of dogs who did this and he was never able to get them to stop. We give her a treat whenever she is distracted and clean it immediately.

Some dogs need a bigger dose than it says to give or split up twice a day.
I have been using the tablets, not the chews, for years for my dogs. I only have one poop eater, but you have to give it to all the dogs not just the one who is doing the eating. It basically causes the poop to be undesirable if they eat the tablet.I have 5 dogs, I did find that the general directions did not fit all my dogs. It could be a metabolism thing, I do not know. Since the ingredients are basically herbal and probiotics it's ok to give more than directed. Added probiotics are good for digestion and in many cases can help with gastro problems. Anyway, my larger dog that was to get one tablet a day seemed to need one and a half twice a day. I had the same problem with on of my smaller dogs, per directions he should have needed only half a tab daily, he ended up needing half a tab twice a day. The other three were fine with the directions as stated on the bottle. In others you might need to play around with it a little, also remember all the dogs in the house have to take the tabs, not just the poop eater. The Stop Stool Eating is to make the stool undesirable when it comes out, so he doesn't want to eat it.

Dogs refuse to eat it
The tablets are big — too big to hide in anything, and both of my dogs absolutely refuse to eat the tablets. So, it is effectively, ineffective.

Didn't Work
I have a basset hound and a bulldog. The basset hound LOVES to eat the bulldog's poop. So I gave this to the bulldog.Per the directions, the bulldog got one tablet per day based on her weight. After two weeks, it hadn't done a thing. The basset continued to eat the poop.I increased the amount from one tablet per day to 1 1/2 tablets per day. After another two weeks at the higher dosage, the poop eating continued.Increased the dosage again to two tablets per day until the bottle was empty. The basset was never deterred. She happily and enthusiastically ate the bulldog's poop the entire time. This product did absolutely nothing.
