These are some excellent shears. Exactly as described, they are sharp and effective. You could use these on your nephew, he needs a haircut anyway.

I got this to replace a cheap Chinese version that was starting to fall apart because of mostly plastic construction. I chose these shears because of the all metal construction and being made in Germany and was not disappointed. It's similar in size to other shears of this size and deals with grass and weeds with no problem. Didn't get any binding with large clumps of grass or thick stems. I like the non-stick coating on the blades as any high carbon non-stainless blades in my location rusts like crazy. I didn't want stainless steel blades because they're less tough (more likely to chip or shatter). These shears hold a good edge and I haven't had to sharpen the edge yet since I've only used it for four months, but I don't expect to have any problems as high carbon blades are easy to sharpen. I expect these shears to serve for at least my lifetime. Recommended.

I am very pleased with this set of grass shears. It is solidly constructed but lightweight. The thin blades make it easier to trim along the house foundation and around the rain downspout extension. I really like using these shears in places along the house where a gas powered trimmer is overkill. I have read some reviews about the tendency for these shears to rust, but I believe that can be avoided by wiping the blades down before putting the shears away. I do that anyway to clean off the soil that accumulates when I use the shears to pop out dandelions that I come cross while trimming.

Absolute top of the line gardening product. My husband is thrilled with the cutting blades and overall ergonomic design of these for ease of use.

These clippers work well, are light-weight, easy to operate, the locking mechanism works well, both in the locked & unlocked positions, & the bright red color makes them easy to see if I forget where I left them. The only negative issue that I found is that I get a blister using them, even with gardening gloves on. A light covering of foam over the handles would be good.

I was tired of the poor quality yard tools coming from China. These clippers should last a long time if cleaned and oiled after use. Great quality and very sharp!

I purchased those scissors as I hate the noise and the mess of my gas string grass trimmer. This product is a very high quality and sharp. I use it to cut grass and brush around the house and other places that my mower cannot reach. The stationary blade is a great feature that allows you to be very precise and cut growth easily around the foundation. I have been using those scissors for an hour or so at the time.e without cramping or any discomfort. I like the one handed operation, especially that you can use your entire hand grip. Highly recommended product.

At last a small pair of grass shears that actually cut grass. I have owned two pairs of shears made by very well known makes neither of which would actually cut grass. I use them for cutting the coarse grass in my lawn. They are very sharp.

Eine super Rasenschere, kann ich nur empfehlen. Kauft nicht die günstigen Baumarktprodukte; ihr kauft zwei mal !!!!!!! Ein Problem, leider ist der kleine Haltebügel am hinteren Griffstück abgefallen und ich kann ihn nicht finden im Rasen. Könnt ihr mir den Bügel nachsenden?

Very happy with this product. It cuts the grass so much better then what I used before. Now I just hope it lasts a long time.... But if not, I would buy it again!
