I don't actually use these for my nails. I have very healthy natural finger nails and toe nails, so I have no need for silks or acrylics, which these files are suited for. I only use the 180/240 files after clipping off the extra length of my nails.What I actually use these coarse files for is my arts and crafts, especially jewelry making. These files work great for smoothing dry precious metal clay - before firing. They work great for wood pieces too. I've even used them to smooth down glass pieces that didn't break smoothly on my score lines. Obviously, I keep a separate file for glass as opposed to any other material. I've also used these files for distressing chipboard edges for certain paper crafting projects. These files are much easier to use on such small scale projects than using sheet sandpaper and a sanding block.

For the money not bad but thought they would be at least alil more stronger, but they will work...

I do acrylic nails and when im doing them on others the rouned end ensures that I won't hurt the client, not to mention they are washable and therefore reuseable!

They are ok but could be better. The cost was good.

The coarse side is just that. The other side could be a little finer. Lasts through several uses.
