It took them two years to make this figure, and the wait was worth it.
When Marvel's Daredevil premiered on Netflix, it received acclaim from both critics and audiences for its serious, gritty take on "The Devil of Hell's Kitchen". But something that seemed disappointing and quite baffling was the lack of any merchandising for this new live-action take on Daredevil. Granted, there have been Daredevil action figures and merch in the past, but the character never reached the swag saturation of Spider-Man or, in more recent years, members of The Avengers. So it was a wonder as to why it took so long to get these figures into production after such universal praise was lauded upon Marvel Studio's first foray into live-action web shows. Sure, we got some very neat Funko Pop figures a while ago, we still had to wait for a Marvel Legends set to be produced. And for the most part, the wait was worth it. Like most Marvel Legends figures, this Netflix Daredevil figure is well articulated, posesses a good sculpt and detailing to capture the color and texture of Daredevil's armored suit, and a decent likeness of actor Charlie Cox (at least his chin, anyway). The figure comes with two sets of hands, a pair of fists and a pair of grasping hands to hold the two fighting batons this figure also comes with. The batons connect to create one single staff, and both batons can be stored in DD's thigh holster, though their fit is quite snug and the batons start to bend as you push them further into the holster. The figure also comes with the head of this line's Build-A-Figure, Man-Thing.The overall score for this figure is pretty high, especially for a mass-produced Hasbro figure that usually prices in the range of $20. But if I have any gripe about this figure, it's the missed opportunity to include a second head modeled after the new mask Daredevil receives in Season 2. Though I actually preferred the original mask's design, it was only worn in the final episode of Season 1 and the first few episodes of Season 2, so including a second swappable head with his most recent mask would've made everyone happy regardless of which mask they liked more and probably eliminated the need for a second Netflix Daredevil figure in a future Marvel Legends line (perhaps that was on purpose, so Hasbro can sell more figures). What also would've been cool is if they produced a Marvel Legends figure of Daredevil in the black vigilante costume he wore for nearly all of Season 1, but they may be saving that for a later line as well.I'm giving this figure 5 stars based on the merits of this figure alone, and not on the lack of a second head sculpt, since it doesn't really hurt the quality of the figure we got.It should also be stated that the figure's joints were a bit stiff out of the package, so take care when trying to loosen them up. The shoulders and elbows don't pivot smoothly but instead click into place, and try not to force the wrists too hard or you risk tearing the posts that fastens the hands to the wrist joints.

Not Your Average Marvel Legends Figure, Amazing Netflix Daredevil
As a big fan of the character and the show, I was so excited when this Marvel Legends Netflix Daredevil figure was revealed over a year ago, and after finally having him in hand, I was very impressed. Now, in my opinion most Marvel Legends figures are good to really good, given the price point and what I know to expect of the line, but I want to say this Netflix Daredevil figure is notches above most Marvel Legends. He doesn't really exceed nor lack in the usual aspects of most Marvel Legends, overall good quality, durability, playability and poseability.I think what I was so impressed with has more to do with the being a big fan of Daredevil as we see him in the Netflix series, his character design and how well Hasbro translated that and the actor's likeness into a $20 action figure. Pretty damn spot on, as far as I can tell. Very faithful to the source material, with a great likeness to boot. The texture all over his suit is just so very well done, it puts me in awe honestly. The paint details on the baton accessories are appreciate as well, and they house nicely in the thigh holster. Both sets of gripping and fisted hands are a plus as well. All in all, as a fan of the character and show and being a figure collector, it's just so cool to be able to have such a faithful replica to re-enact and create my own stories and action with in my toy universe. Highly recommend.

Superior Marvel Legends Daredevil. Buy this before they run out and you have to pay collectors prices!
While the Marvel Legends line certainly has its detractors, they are consistently (no more than ever) putting out high-quality figures that in model-like quality, replicate our favorite characters from the screen. While I at times find myself frustrated with some of the Legend's comic book character recreation, that surely isn't the case with this line. To be fair, I don't collect the entire set, I pick and choose my favorites. (I recently purchased Daredevil, Star-Lord, Homecoming: Spider-man) and each are just stellar. In most cases, I feel like these are "definitive" representations of the characters. This Daredevil has a GREAT sculpt, wonderful shape and the accessories were not warped. (They often can be warped, however, I don't generally doc points for this.) The likeness to the Netflix counterpart is well done and the character looks great on my desk with the other Marvel Legends. I should also note that I purchased this damaged/open box via Amazon Warehouse (I've had hit and miss luck) and this was a great bargain. Buy this before they run out and you have to pay collectors prices!

Cool figure with tiny pieces. Heads pops off occasionally. Great for display.
Very detailed and looks great. Lots of articulation points. *Small parts alert* for parents with small children and pets that like to eat toys and chew on stuff. Probably not right for smaller kids playing with action figures in the living room, unless all the small pieces are confiscated beforehand. A nice display piece if that is the intent. My 7 year old plays with it and the head pops off quite frequently so that is a slight annoyance.

After almost 3 years of waiting Hasbro finally releases figures based on the amazing Marvel/Netflix shows and they are awesome
FINALLY The Devil is HERE!!! After almost 3 years of waiting Hasbro finally releases figures based on the amazing Marvel/Netflix shows and they are awesome. Specially the Daredevil. Complete with swappable hands and Billy Club that can split in two fighting buttons or can be holstered onto the side of Daredevil's belt. I have only two criticisms about this figure 1) The Billy Club tends to bow a little bit so it will have a slight curve to it which looks esthetically bad. 2) The figure does NOT come with a swappable head featuring Matt Murdock without his mask, which in my opinion would have been a far more obvious accessory than a "Man-Thing" Build-a-figure piece, but that's just my opinion... Seriously, why was Man-Thing the build-a-figure for this set? Why not Kingpin? Anyway, the figure is still great, a must buy for any hardcore fan of this seminal streaming series.
