EZCast CatchU does not continuous record to one file via external storage!
EDIT: I just found out a few days ago, When the system format for USB storage is FAT32. Due to the restriction of FAT32, the maximum size for file recordings will be 4GB. When format is exFAT, the default maximum size is 32GB. exFAT can be maxed to 128GB via CatchU's firmware update on the MiraPlug App.I've tested this on my exFAT Sandisk 500GB device and it works fine.---I’ve had this for 3 months. I’m happy with the device and It performs well.I word of warning for those who want to record to external storage like USB. EZCast CatchU does NOT record one continuous file! Nothing is mentioned in the manual about this either so I wanted to let people know.It stores a max of 4.29GB per file so you will have quite a few .mp4 files after recording game play for a few hours. Lastly, I noticed the files don’t seamlessly run together when you knit them together in a video editor which is a shame.
