McKleinWILLOW SPRINGS W Series Laptop Briefcase, Red Leather (96566)

I bought McKlein USA 96562 Willow Springs Mint 15.6" Leather Ladies' Briefcase one size. I’m a programmer, working from home, have to travel to client site on Monday; on Friday I realized I can’t carry my laptop in my hands. Friday late night, maybe around 10-11 pm, I ordered this bag with one day delivery. Saturday afternoon they delivered my bag! I was blown away. Now I have time to pack before my early Monday travels. They saved me a huge headache. Friday night I went to look at computer totes to the mall, Stapels, Office Depot, etc., but couldn’t find anything I liked. Nice but very plain and unreasonably expensive Michael Kor totes just didn’t inspire me at all.McKlein USA 96562 Willow Springs has a lot to offer. It’s sturdy: with a laptop inside I can put bag on the floor and not to worry it will tip over. Actually, I think due to sturdiness this bag will last longer looking brand new. I love big pocket in front and two small on the sides, so I can put my car keys, badge and phone; I can put liquids in clear zip lock in front pocket going through security will be very easy to pull out and put back. My Lenovo Ultra Book 14” fits together with Dell 15.6” at the same time, if I put them in two side sections as the padded zipped middle section is a bit too small. I can get a padded sleeve but I don’t think it’s necessary. There are pockets and places to put pens, sticky notes, papers in manila folder, etc. This bag is very nicely organized. If I carry only one laptop, there is enough room to sneak in hair brush, my contigo coffee mug and even narrow tapper ware holding a sandwich and a box with snack bars, still room left over depends how much you want to pack this bag. The little strip that tightens together shoulder handles I find very smart idea as it keeps bag secure and comfortably on my shoulder. I was a bit concerned looking at how this bag sits on manikin as it looked a bit huge, but I was relieved, the size of my bag is not overwhelming, I’m 5.4” and not as skinny as manikin, so bag on my shoulder doesn’t look grotesque. I’m very pleased with my purchase and super fast delivery took my stress away.

I chose this style instead of the less-expensive McKlein briefcases because I wanted a wider bag. I don't like to carry a purse along with a briefcase--I want everything in one bag--and this is wide enough to put my laptop/books/papers/whatever in the padded side, and bulky items, including a shoulder wallet and toiletries bag, in the other (organizer) side, with the zippered section between. The zippered section fits letter-sized papers but is not quite wide enough for manila folders. But the outside section fits folders, magazines, legal pads, plus tickets or anything else you might need to put your hands on quickly. There are two end pockets with magnetic clasps. They're big enough for a smart phone (plus there's a pocket inside that will also accommodate a smart phone), but they're not big enough for a water bottle. No problem, you can fit a water bottle inside. I shopped on various sites for this bag and some sites mistakenly say it has a removable laptop section. It does not. I ordered it in red, which turned out to be a very nice deep, vivid cranberry. I took it along on an out-of-town business trip and it performed like a champ. Note that when I was shopping, it was less expensive on the ebags site, but I needed it right away, so I paid extra to get it from Amazon with two-day Prime shipping.

Take my laptop to office and bring back home every day and it fits perfectly. Love how organizable it is.And the red....just love this tone of red, looks classy and different. Gave 4 stars because for the things I need for every day use to work from home and office, it is kind of too tight.

I love everything about this bag except the front closure. The magnetic buckle for the front pocket is both not quite long enough and not strong enough to stay closed when you carry the bag. If that is okay with you, then the bag is awesome. I have the red one and the color is rich and bold but professional. It is soft and expensive-looking. The inside pockets give many options for all my stuff and still leave plenty of room for my laptop. Great purchase!

I just got my McKlein bag three days ago but so far I love it. It's very spacious and has ample room for my personal stuff in addition to my Kindle and/or laptop. The leather is very stiff and will probably require some breaking in. The side pockets would probably be able to hold a small bottle of water and certainly would be able to hold a smart phone. I love the color too. It's very springy.

I bought this bag after reading the reviews and searching for something similar for a while. It is a big at first glance but, it does eliminate the need for another bag. I have been carying my laptop and my GPS, agenda etc . I have not carried a handbag since I got this. It has two outside pockets good for cell phones or eye glasses, things you need right away.Looks beautiful, good leather. I have been asked about where I got it. I am thinking of getting another one with a lighter color one for the summer.

Very nice. I really like this bag. The only downside is my 13" MacBook Pro does not fit in the compartment for my MacBook Pro. Very stylish and wonderful. I would have given it a five star if my Mac would have fit where it is supposed too.

I loved the look of this bag and ordered it in black, but it arrived today and unlike in the picture, the stitching is white. It doesn't look as nice, and I'm debating returning it. As other reviewers noted, though, it is large enough to hold my 13" MacBook Pro in its sleeve with plenty of room, as well as a water bottle and just about anything else I could want in there and seems to be very well-constructed. I'm so disappointed. Look at the McKlein USA Isabella briefcase to see what it will actually look like with the white stitching.

A little stiff, more than expected, otherwise it is beautiful.
