These were much smaller than I thought. The base is a bit smaller than a US nickel coin. But they are very strong and well made. They easily hold a key chain and stay put.

I haven't actually tested the true weight capabilities of these little guys, but they have performed admirably for me. And, I believe when they claim they are good up to 30 lbs, they are only referring to an upside down application, not on a wall or such, so keep that in mind. I'm not gonna test that, mind you, but it's kinda a given, since magnets slide...But, hanging these under something? This they do and do well. I use these for lighter things, mostly, but I would be comfortable hanging at least 5-10 lbs (after actual testing, of course) that way. They certainly seem pretty tough to pull down once securely positioned.The hooks are nice and sturdy and the whole thing is a sleek, stainless steel so shouldn't tarnish easily. I like that the magnet is also encased in steel so it won't chip, or worse, fall out. Ever. And the hook is solidly attached, while still able to swing freely.Much better than any run of mill set you pick up at a box store. Worth paying a little extra for them, in my opinion.

These work great to provide extra space in cruise cabins. I took a star off because some of the wire was bent out of shape. It's really good wire (probably a low grade spring steel, good stuff) and was very difficult to bend back in the correct shape and the plating started flaking off.

Putting them together was a bit difficult with no instructions however simple. They work just fine but I haven’t hung anything really heavy on them yet.

I have a metal front door, so it gets very hot in the summer and very cold in the winter. The adhesive hooks just don't stay on. These hooks are great to use for hanging stuff on my front door. They hold an average sized wreath and when I take them off they have not damaged the door. I am quite please with these hooks.

I was very disappointed when I try to use the hooks that I just got right before my cruise that I had purchased for my cruise to be able to hang bathing suit, hats, my beach bag maybe even a towel on my cabinet state room walls that that one I did use them to try to hang up the little stuff, too keep give more hanging space the magnet would not hold just the simplest things that would slide down the wall, which was surprising to me because the weight was well underneath the approximate weight that it said it would hold the only thing that it did hold or they did hold was the motion lights that I had purchased for my cabin light that was, it was very so I was very disappointed on my cruise last week and I could not use them for what I intended to do when I purchase them everything I hung on them regards it was my new hat. It slid down on the wall if it was heavier than 1 pound and the walls in the cabin are metal, although they do not look like they are so unsatisfied very disappointed in this purchase.😡😡😡

The magnetic hooks are too tiny for my use. I thought they were larger based on picture but they are not. Magnet and hooks are separate. Must attached hooks to magnets. It took me about 30 minutes to attach the hooks because they're so tiny. But they do have a strong magnet. If you want a tiny hook to hand small things on, this will work fine.

Very good magnets, can hold a lot of weight ! I highly recommend these ! Needed them for our clip boards at work cause we constantly open the doors and they stay on no problem!
