Are the two lights good for a 5x5 grow tent?

No they are not. They are pretty much only good for seedlings. I also only received ONE of the two advertised. I'd go with something much bigger than these for a 5x5. The LampSoul lr1200 is a good starting light if you are on a budget. I'd go with at least 2. But these aren't even strong enough for a 2x2.

I do not know, I was using this light for my seedlings when I was getting ready for my garden, Now I am using one of these lights for my Venus Fly traps and for African Violets and I might add that they are all doing great.
