Sturdy, low-profile, not too hot, easy-to-install, very long cables
Update: almost 5 years in, these lights still work beautifully.I installed these under kitchen cabinets to light the counter space beneath. I delayed writing the review for a few months because I wanted to be sure they didn't burn out right away. They haven't--I can still see all the individual LEDs if I look closely at the reflection on the counter-top. We use them every day. They're not as bright as I expected, so I ended up buying another set of three to increase the lighting under a cabinet area that's roughly 5 feet wide by 1 foot deep. If I were going to do it again, I think I might have bought the same brand but bought strip lighting instead to reduce the spot-lighting effect, though with six of these, the lighting is pretty well diffused. There is a switch with a "bright" vs. "dim" toggle. We leave ours on "bright" always and control the lights with a wall-switch that controls the receptacle they are plugged into.Installation was easy. The hardest part of the installation was tucking up the excess cable so that it didn't hang down visibly beneath the cabinets. These come with a generous amount of wire. There is a delay when they come on--probably a full second between when I throw the switch and when the lights come on. But unlike those horrible CFLs, these come on at full strength--there is no "warm-up" period. My family and I are very happy with these lights.

They look great
I put three of these inside of a giant mirror frame. I have a glass shelf mounted in front of the mirror with some beautiful crystals displayed on it. I had antiqued the mirror frame with chalk paint and antiquing wax. It is gorgeous on my mantle. Not bad considering the mirror was in the trash when I found it. The lights are "indirect", well made and would work under a kitchen counter really well. A really nice feature is the adjustable light switch where you can make the lights dimmer or brighter. Very easy to install. Good purchase. Good value

Great light for limited vertical space applications.
These are great compact lights for limited vertical space applications.I've been making some modifications to an enclosed hutch/bookcase that's structurally divided into top and bottom halves. The top half is lighted with typical 25W mini floodlights, the bottom half isn't. I wanted to add some dimmable "warm white" lighting to the bottom half, and these puck lights are perfect for that job, particularly because the top-half lighting is fully recessed in the top of the cabinet, and there's a lot less vertical space for a light in the bottom half ... I needed a "low-profile" light for that location.I only needed two lights, but this set came with three, all of which are controlled simultaneously. They're powered from a little junction box with three output jacks on one side, one input jack on the other. The dimmer/on-off switch plugs into that on one side, and the AC adapter on the other. So the wiring sequence is: AC adapter to dimmer/on-off switch; switch to junction in; junction outs to lights ... all "plug and play," very easy to understand/install. The dimmer doesn't go to 0% (I think that would be a better design), but there's an on/off button right next to the dimmer, and the range of lighting is OK for my app. The on-off switch is a push-button ... I mounted both the junction box and dimmer switch in an easy-to-reach spot on the rear of my cabinet. The on/off/dimmer switch comes with a piece of two-sided foam tape on it that's pretty strong (so far). The junction doesn't come with the two-sided foam, so you either have to use two of the little screws supplied with the lights to attach it to your mounting surface, or, if the material you're screwing into is too thin for that (mine is), you'll need your own piece of two-sided foam to mount it. The kit also comes with a supply of self-adhesive wire clips (a total of 9, I think), to help keep the wires running to the lights neat/out of the way.Last note: the light from these forms a fairly tight "cone," rather than a "flood" effect. I'm craving a bit more of a "flood" dispersion in my app, so I'm probably going to cover the lens with some kind of diffuser. That's just me/my preference, however, no diss on the lights, which I think were a perfect choice for my app in all other respects. Five stars.[Dec. 2023 update to original review: After a year and a half of pretty consistent use (on for a few hours a day), individual LED cells on BOTH pucks I mounted in the cabinet are starting to flicker/fail ... LED's should obviously last a lot longer than that, so removed one star from original rating.]

Look no further.
Looks great, Very easy to install. Lights are bright, as I wanted. Dimmer is ideal if needed. This is a quality product at a fair price.

New behavior
The media could not be loaded. These puck lights are perfect for our application. Installed nearly 4 years ago. Recently started flashing when the switch is turned on. (See video) Anybody know why that might be happening?

Not so bright
Not as bright as we hoped. Using under a shelf for a desk area and not bright enough at all. Was planning on using 2 but even with three not as bright as needed. May return for brighter. May be fine for kitchen, but not if you need to do work or really see under the cabinet.

Cant Use With Wall Switch
Lights are fine, warm white, dimmer works well ,BUT, I installed them in Office Cabinets and connected to wall switch only to discover (too late) that they don't remember their settings when power disconnected.....so turning on wall switch doesn't turn on lights, you have to also re x-push the puck light power button.....lights are fine if your installation doesn't require that.
