Before using this adapter I was using an Apple branded adapter and it started to go bad. Every time I moved my aux cord in the adapter I was getting a lot of static and it started making it impossible to listen to stuff on my phone. I bought this adapter to fix that and it exceeded my expectations. The sound is so much clearer. The corded wire protector is a nice touch and makes the product feel much sturdier than my original adapter. Best of all, I get no static. I’m glad I was able to find this adapter and even happier that I got two of them for a great price. Would definitely recommend.

These do Not work for the iPhone. I tried two different phones with no success. Issue: when making a call, with this adapter and headphones, sound doesn’t come through my headphones however sound only comes through the iPhone.Oddly, it does work when listening to music on the iPhone.

The plug works as it should but not with a microphone headset, only audio out.

Nicely adapts my Rode Videomic, which has a built-in 3.5mm connector, to my iPhone, which has a lightning connector. Well-built with refined finish. Lightweight and portable. I expect it to be durable and reliable.

I've had this for a year or two now, and can't believe it took me this long to realize it doesn't work for phone calls! It would appear this adapter has only 3 wires/pins, like an old-school headphone cable/connector, with no microphone, meaning there's no connection to the 4th pin that powers the microphone.It works just great with music (I've been fine with the audio quality), and it's lasted me through a fair amount of music & podcast listening, transport, etc. (so I'm good w/ the build quality as well).But no microphone support is a deal-breaker. I had to replace this. Waste of money and time.

I ordered the 2 pack. One piece for home use and one for business trips. Nice design, great quality and good value. I highly recommend.

I've been looking for a Lightning-to-analog solution that is more durable than Apple's flimsy adaptors whose insulation wears through in just a month or two.Performance:I A/B'd the Apple and these no-name, seemingly more rugged adaptors into an audio mixer, and the no-names output a LOT LOUDER than the Apple's - WHEN THEY WORKED! Which was about half the time after a week's use in my car. After that, the audio would cut out over the car speakers, and playback would pause, or, when I pressed play on my iPhone, the audio would come from only the phone speaker. 🤦🏻‍♂️With my next paycheck, I invested in half a dozen Apple Lightning audio adapters, as backups, and threw these gray adapters in a desk drawer and forgot about them.Live n learn: You wanna plug a lightning iPhone into a sound system and play it over the speakers - buy APPLE accessories to do it! Or go Bluetooth, with a slight decrease in sound quality.
