These TSA locks are so easy to use and look great.I used these for flying to Hawaii this year and it secured my luggage great.I am planning on flying in the near future and have since retired my old TSA locks for these.Will definitely buy again when the time comes.

I used these locks on a recent backpacking trip. They are lightweight so easily carried in my gear. I was able to use them in the lockers at the hostels.

I'd bought a more traditional kind of suitcase combination lock—one that has black-on-chrome numbers, as most of them do—and I was amazed how hard it was to see those little numbers, and in so many different lighting conditions! After poking around a bit I found this one, and between the ease of using the flexible cable, the ease of setting the combination, and the completely trouble-free visibility of the white-on-black numbers...well, folks, we have a winner.

Very easy to manipulate the combination discs, which are very easy to read and set, are framed on the lock side with a push button to release. The lock body is very robust, however the coating on the cable stops short where it is crimped and enters the lock body, exposing the cables to filling. This is not a unique, but a very common fault of this style of lock. I know because I personally verified this fault on many different locks in luggage stores. Overall it is a very good lock and will protect your luggage for the purpose it was designed for. As a TSA cable lock, I found this model to be the easiest to use. Where a classic protected shackle can be used instead, choose that model. There is one available from Amazon with the same robust construction.

Main reason why I picked this lock over so many others in the similar price range: the cable design. Most other locks in this price range usually have those short metal shackles that are hard to manipulate especially when you're on the go at the airport and in a hurry. Having a long wire makes things that much easier. It's also TSA friendly so no cut locks if you decide to lock your checked luggage.Super simple to set the combination, just had to flip a switch at the bottom corner and then flip it back when you're done. Highly recommended.

I am currently using six of these and had absolutely no issues with them so far. Easy to set thanks to the small lever and easy to read thanks to the good quality dial. Feels very sturdy and stands moderate handling abuse. Will buy again if need more.

I haven't used this on a trip yet but so far it feels and looks solidly built. The number dials move smoothly. The button is big and easy to press. I wish it came with several straps of different lengths because when there's a lot of slack in the strap, I worry it can easily get caught with other bags or machines...etc.

The lock itself works well, seems high quality and felt very durable. It was easy to set up and use, and fit all the luggage I tested it on. However, it did end up getting cut despite the supposed TSA Master Key compatibility. (When I collected the bag the lock was gone, and there was a TSA note inside) So I’m not 100% sure the ‘Master Key’ stuff is true... I’ll still give it 4 stars since the lock itself was ok, just wanted to get my story out there.
