This takes the guess work out of putting on hardware. I did still measure to the center of the drawer in order to make sure I was hitting the middle mark so the pull was centered on the face of the drawers

This product would be great if it had better set screws on the adjustment pieces, they do not hold unless you use a pliers to tighten! This is the problem with buying online you just don't know what your going to get!

I used this jig to install hardware on bathroom cabinets, and then in the laundry room and then in another bathroom. I should start by first saying that the first one I received needed to be returned/replaced as it didn't screw together securely...the reason for 4 stars.There weren't any instructions at all for assembly or use but there is a video on the Amazon page for this jig and that is how I figured out how to put it together. I also watched a YouTube video and learned that this style of jig is very popular and then I watched a few more videos to learn some tips. Before this project I had only used a tape measure and pencil to install cabinet hardware. This jig is definitely worth it (if you get one that works). I was able to drill all of my cabinet holes within a few minutes and everything went together perfectly. I have to admit that I shook my head a few times thinking of all the times I measured and marked and remeasured and "eyeballed it" before drilling holes for cabinet hardware.

This functions as expected, well built and seemingly durable. Everything works like it is supposed to.

There are no instructions included. I had a hard time figuring out how to use it. It is too short for my kitchen drawers but works for cabinet doors. The product itself is good quality but needs to be improved for details.

I bought this to install door pulls on some shaker cabinet doors + drawer fronts. Originally I wanted the $225 “True Positions Tools” version but couldn’t justify the price tag for this one time use. I bought this $60 version instead and here’s how that went:SHORT VERSION: Do NOT a buy this cheap product.LONG VERSION: This arrived with white gloves, tools for assembly, a storage bag but NO INSTRUCTIONS… which is kinda okay; didn’t take long for me to figure it out.Once I got it assembled, I started making all the pertinent adjustments to suit my needs and started drilling/installing away! It held true for about 4 drawer fronts until I started noticing some play where the “T rulers” screw together. So I gently tightened them with the provided screwdriver. Then I noticed the guide rail also had play in it and doesn’t lock square, so I constantly checked it with a combo square and tightened the knobs with pliers. Still had some slop. Got it as square as I could and double checked all my measurements… Which adds time and defeats the purpose of using a jig.After use on 7 total drawer fronts and one cabinet door, nothing on this jig held together well and was moving all over the place. The screws on this device eventually stripped the cheap aluminum this made out of.10/10 would NOT a recommend.

I returned this product. The hole for the set screw on the vertical ruler arrived stripped out. It is aluminum and does not have a steel insert. Could have been a great product. Manufacturing choose the cheap way out.

It works great on small projects and fairly accurate for what it is. No complaint. I will return it and get a larger one that will work better for my contacting business
