Perfect for my classroom!! It locks, so I don’t have to worry about the blade showing and somehow accidentally cutting anyone. It’s absolutely perfect for me in my classroom!! So lightweight but strong!!

I do like this cutter overall and it was a decent price. The grid is very helpful. There are a few things I noticed that I wish could've been better.Could have been user error, but I find if I use the upper edge as a straight edge, it's not super accurate and I end up with a bit of a slant. I am better off eyeballing it on the grid.Other wish is that the plastic safety bar was easier to take on and off. I had some laminate stuck to the bottom of the safety bar thing and the only way to get it off was to remove the bar. There are pegs on the bottom with springs and the bar can be taken off but not without a bit of a fight.

I'm very impressed with this paper cutter, especially because I'm from the old school where paper cutters were huge and dangerous in elementary school in the 60's. I was always afraid of these things, especially when I was in the third grade....lol. This cutter is lightweight and comes with a guard for your fingers. Very easy to use.....and most of all safe. I haven't tried to cut a large amount of paper as honestly I don't believe I would get a clean cut on the first try. I would probably have to make a few cuts a little at a time....leaving the larger jobs for the bigger heavier cutters that could handle larger amounts of paper. ...But for small jobs for your small business, working from home or personal projects, this cutter is ideal. I love it.
