The body is solid and the translucent casing has a smoky effect which adds to the great looks of this item. I couldn't work out how to adjust the light to come on only at nighttime, and for how long, but a quick email to the seller and everything was clarified within less than an hour! Most definitely recommend this product.

Decided to get this type of outside light as I'd had enough of lights with built-in LEDs giving up in less than 3 years (lucky I kept my receipts for 5 year warranty products from B&Q) Ordered this and a 17w LED bulb (150w equivalent old style bulb but be aware these are slightly larger bulbs than what is recommended for the light but bending the bulb holder out slightly will allow clearance to fit the bulb).You will need a PZ1 type screwdriver (100mm long) to remove the front retaining screws.If your electric supply cable is above or next to your chosen light position you will need some kind of spacers like M8 nuts to go between the light fixing holes and wall to allow the cable clearance to get behind the back of the light. There's no earth connection so if you have an earth in your supply cable then simply sleeve the bare wire with earth sleeve and fit a connector block and tuck inside the light.Feeding the cable through the back is a little fiddly getting the sealing grommet in place but overall the whole fitting process is quite straight forward for anyone familiar with simple DIY tasks but if at all unsure then get a pro to fit it.This light comes with a PIR sensor which works but unfortunately for me doesn't activate till you get about 3 to 4 metres away which may be fine for most people.Good value light but not massive movement detection distance. Don't forget to order a suitable E27 type bulb and isolate/turn off the electric circuit you're connecting it to if fitting it yourself.

The product arrived promptly, this is a nice-looking light but had to use a high-wattage bulb to get enough light. It Was easy to install, and the motion sensor works nicely with easy adjustment. Unfortunately, it stopped working after 3 months, therefore not worth the money and effort, old manual switch bulkhead light is back in position.

Nice simple good lamp to replace the ever failing LED Security lights I was having to replace, if this bulb fails simple pit one in thats Provides the brightness and colour you require.

Not sure what to make of this light. Description says powder coated aluminium. There is not a piece of aluminium in its construction at all. Instructions are in pigeon English, don't make sense and so so small you need a magnifying glass to read it. The construction is very cheap and I cannot see how this is water resistant when you have a force 7 battering the house. Furthermore the cable that goes in the back, unless is straight out of the wall, needs to go under the framework of the lamp, this will raise the light off the wall unless you gouge cement out of the wall for the cable to pass under the light's framework. There would be a cutout on a more expensive light. However, it looks good and appears to turn on and off at the appropriate times when people pass when dusk/dark. We will see how long it lasts.

The instruction leaflet is printed in a very tiny font and has been translated (from Mandarin?) by someone who doesn't speak English. Even if you can decipher the tiny text, it makes no sense whatsoever. It is one of the worst leaflets I have ever seen... absolutely useless.

Die Wandlampe ist an sich sehr schön und macht einen hochwertigen Eindruck.In der Beschreibung steht allerdings, die Lampe habe einen Bewegungsmelder - leider kam jedoch ein Modell ohne Bewegungsmelder an. Es hätte mich schon stutzig machen sollen, dass auf manchen der Produktbilder ein Sensor zu sehen ist und auf manchen nicht; es ist jedoch nicht auswählbar, ob einer eingebaut sein soll oder nicht. Da in der Beschreibung steht, es sei einer eingebaut, bin ich davon ausgegangen, dass das auch so ist. Ging nun leider zurück, weil der Bewegungsmelder wichtig für uns ist. Schade um die Zeit, das Verpackungsmaterial und die entstandenen Emissionen, und dass wir nun nicht die schöne Lampe haben, die wir uns gewünscht hatten.
