TintartPerformance Replacement Lenses Compatible with Oakley Gascan OO9014 Polarized Etched

I've had my Oakley Gascans for about 5 years now. After a few years the original lenses got pretty beat up from work. Lots of scratches made it hard to see out of them, and finally I went on the search for a new set of lenses. I came across these, and after reading a lot of positive reviews, I decided that for the low cost I would give them a shot. I opted for a close replacement with the carbon black polarized. They showed up a couple days later, and snapped perfectly into my frames. I would even go as far as to say I was thrilled with how well they fit. When I tried them on they had a nice tint to them. All in all I would say they matched the original lenses fairly well. I had those lenses up until about a week ago when my shades fell off of my head and onto the concrete, where I accidentally stepped on them and gave them an irreversible series of scratches. I was pretty bummed out, but I knew where to go. I just ordered my second pair and decided to go with a color that will stand out a little more, the emerald green. They arrived today and I think they look awesome! The tint is a little different then I am used to, but I think I will get comfortable with them in no time. To summarize, some people like paying $75 for new lenses, while others like paying $22. I can't tell the difference.

My Gascan sunglasses are at least 10+ years old and Oakley's protective coating is flaking off, and looks terrible. I've been considering replacing the lenses for a couple of years. Browsing the Oakey website on and off where replacement lenses are $$ and even more $ for polarized versions. So I had never pulled the trigger. It had never occurred to me that there would be non-OEM lenses available for the frames until I happened across these on Amazon. Of course there are. Comparably inexpensive and polarized as well.The most difficult part of the purchase was deciding on the lens color/finish. Once I placed the order the lenses arrived promptly, securely individually wrapped and packaged, in perfect condition. The seller also included a new tote bag for my pair of sunglasses, and a small card to test if the lenses are in fact polarized, which they are. The lenses themselves are laser etched POLARIZED same as the OEMs.Replacement was a snap, literally. There are videos on YouTube for many frames including these. Essentially you gently lift the upper edge of the frame and push the lens out, then reverse the process to install the new lens. It took all of 45 seconds for both. It's simple enough that it's conceivable to purchase a couple different colors of lens and swap them out now and again.New lenses look great, fully functional, I'd not hesitate to buy again.

It fits my glasses perfectly. My job is outside so far they have worked great

100% did not fit. Both lenses would not snap into any of my 3 frames and what little grab they had would fail when the frames flexed.They look alright, and look close to original dimensions, but that doesn’t matter if they don’t lock into place.

Their decent enough lenses, and will work. However, I see after having them a couple months they scratch easy and won’t stay in the frame even at the slightest drop or bump.If your in a pinch, their fine. Otherwise get Oakley originals.

The lenses were easy to swap. I wanted to try these fire-red lenses and compare them with my existing OEM Oakley Blue ice polarized lenses in Gascan frames. They appear to be of good quality, fit precisely, and have great optical clarity. The polarization is effective. I would prefer them to be a little darker tinted overall for use here in south Florida and not so much of an apparent weighted green hue, but overall I am happy with them. They compare well with the Oakley OEM lenses, except in these two areas. Price of course, is a big plus. Durability is yet to be proven.

I have purchased these lenses multiple times over the past 5 years and they are a Great replacement! If you wear your Oakleys Every Single Day like I do and just keep them on your head and not in a case then these will last about a year. And that’s even working in them outside in rough conditions. Even after replacing them about once a year they still snap in perfectly every time. If you want lighter tint go with the elite. The Max polarized are a darker shade but they both have the same color on the outside.

Amazing product, everything described about these lenses are solid. I have had my Oakley Gascan frames for over 9 years and taken them everywhere, from deployments to daily leisure, and when the original lenses were scratched up completely i was a little skeptical about buying these lenses (seemed to good to be true) but i am glad i was proven wrong, i purchased the blue lenses and they are beautifully polarized, i have dropped them a couple times already on the lenses and still no scratches, completely neutralizes the heavy sun glare, and provides clear sight. I am going to be purchasing the black lenses soon to take with me when i go out into the field.
