Great Budget Projector
The media could not be loaded. From the start I have to say that I have been looking at budget projectors for a little while but didn't want to spend a lot of money because I know it's going to be one of those things that I rarely use as I am unable to have it permanently set up. This item popped up on a black Friday deal for £67 and I thought how I can go wrong? yes, it has some shortfalls, but I just keep saying to myself, it was only £67! So, what is it like to live with?It arrived quickly and it is very compact. I eagerly waited for it to get dark so I could plug it in and get started. If you think you will be using this in the daylight, or a well-lit room forget it. The colours are completely bleached out (insert it was only £67 here).Setup was pretty easy, and I haven't yet used the remote control. I already had a video camera tripod, so I used that to mount the projector, pointed it at a cream wall which was 8 feet x 8 feet from a distance of around 10 feet and plugged the projector in.The main menu is basic but functional, there is good adjustment on the focus but very limited adjustment if the unit is higher or lower than the screen and no adjustment if it is placed to the left or right. So, for best results you do need to place the unit pretty square on to the screen. The picture size is determined by the unit's distance from the screen but there is an option within the menus to re-size the image down to 75%.Personally, at this price I don't think you can expect too much regarding the resolution, but I believe it is 1080p.Sound wise, the internal fan is quite noisy, the internal speaker does a reasonable job. The sound is clear enough to hear dialogue and loud enough to enjoy tv broadcasts such as the big bang theory for example, but of course it will be a bit lacking when it comes to movies as it is a mono system with no low or high end.Round the back you get a 3.5mm headphone jack, 3.5mm AUX port 2 USB ports, an HDMI port and a VGA port. The home menu lets you connect to the various ports and has some basic functionality for picture quality, sound settings and the ability to project the screen upside down or in reverse if you are using the unit for rear projection. My particular set up was as follows.I had a spare Crome cast device, so I plugged that in the 1st USB port and the HDMI port. This gave me the ability to cast my android phone or tablet thus allowing me to project YouTube, Netflix, BBCi player or any video source I had on my handsets. Next, I connected a wireless Bluetooth sender that I already had to the 2nd USB port and the headphone jack. I paired that to my 5.1 sound bar. This gave me the cinema sound required for big movies. I then order a cheap projector screen (£59 black Friday deal) and for £130 I have a great Saturday night cinema set up.For this sort of money, it is perfect for me. As long as you don't expect too much from this unit, and given the tiny price tag, you won't be disappointed. If I wanted to use this in a dedicated cinema set up, would I buy it? Absolutely not! (Horses for courses) but for occasional use on a Saturday night or in the Garden it is great. The elephant in the room is this. At £67 it is very worthy of 5 stars! The seller claims its true retail value (as at 28/11/22) is £226.99. If that is true, then I would probably be scoring it at 4 stars. Still worth buying but I would do a little more research and check out the reviews for other products first. It is the great value that is this projector biggest strength. Has it convinced me to go out and spend 3 grand on a proper 4K short throw projector? No! I am just not going to use it often enough. My 48" OLED Bravia TV blows this unit out the water in every aspect BUT that was 20 times the price! And that is what keeps the projector in perspective. If you are an occasional user like me, it is excellent. You will find yourself saying "it was only £67" in disbelief on several occasions while using this projector.

One of my best purchases
This projector was purchased to use in my bedroom in my new house as we do not have the optimal space for a TV. I've installed it on the ceiling as it isn't too heavy and it is very secure and allows it to be in the optimal position. The projector itself is brilliant and much better than I was expecting at this price point. The picture is great once you have tweaked the settings and although it is quite bright you can turn down the brightness and the size of the screen which helps to reduce the brightness in the room. Or if you want the screen full size for watching sports nad movies it's brilliant. Whilst I thought after reading reviews for projectors that I would need to buy a sound bar to have great audio, I am very happy with the audio of this projector for my purposes.I have also tried the projector outside in the garden and it is effective once the sun starts setting or if you can find a spot that is not to bright and is shady out of direct or harsh sunlight. The only downsides really are that the plug was a bit on the short side, but you can replace that with a longer one for a few pounds and the fan does make some noise but that is normal for projectors.Overall I am very satisfied with this purchase and would definitely recommend it if you are looking for a budget projector or are just wanting to try out projectors.

Decent Budget Projector, but is it native 1080P?
It is difficult to write a review for this projector as it remains unclear to me whether this is a native 1080P projector or whether it is a lower 1280x720 (or 720P) unit. The instruction manual is unclear on this, and I have not been able to get an answer from the email contact provided in the manual either. The level of pixilation seems about the same to me as a 720P projector I already own so I would be grateful for clarification from the manufacturer. Leaving this aside there is much to commend this projector as the projected image is very good. Whilst not bright enough to display in a well-lit room it is fine for evening use and focus and colour rendering is also very good. Sound quality is OK but not outstanding. Better to connect an external amplifier directly from your source or via the headphone socket on the unit. Bluetooth capability is also lacking which would also seem common in a unit in this price range. The range of other inputs is also slightly limiting as there is no micro SD slot and only one HDMI input. There are however two USB ports allowing multiple USB sticks to be used. To use this unit with mobile phones you will also need to buy additional adapters so it seems a little strange to describe it specifically as a phone projector. It does not support Miracast.Dust is the enemy of projectors and this one does have the facility to gain easy access to the lens for cleaning which may prove to be a significant plus in the long run. Notwithstanding my criticisms I am generally happy with my purchase and intend to keep it. It is however a budget projector so don't expect it to perform like one costing significantly more money. Also watch out for price variation on the sale of this as the seller appears to boost the price on a temporary basis to suggest it is at a special sale price!

Great value for money
I was pleasantly surprised at the picture and build quality of this budget projector. It was easy to attach to a ceiling mount and even the mounting screw was included in the box (which annoyingly I didn't see at first and spent ages finding a suitable camera mount screw amongst my bits and pieces).I paired it with a 6-foot Dunelm white blackout blind for 20 quid and the picture filled the screen with the projector about 7 feet away.Just plugged in my existing FireTV stick (had to change a setting as explained in the documentation to get sound out of the on-board speakers). The on-board speakers are not loud, but it was easy to pair the FireTV to a bluetooth speaker. The fan noise it not obtrusive. My 12-year-old daughter is thrilled with her new home cinema without me spending too much! Will be good for me to watch footy as well!!
