One of the best tools to have as an acrylic painter. It has saved me from wasting painting. My paint never dries out in between use. I'm so pleased with the stay-wet pallette.

Larger size palet with everything included makes painting easier and saves $$$'s. Before you start painting, you wet and wring out the sponge palet liner. Then you dampen the palet liner paper and put it on top of the sponge and load the paper with your paint. After you finish painting you snap on the palet top. I have opened it a month later and the acrylic paint is still workable. It"s like magic!

Let me say up front that I prefer oils over acrylics due to acrylic's rapid drying properties. I use mediums like glazing mediums and retarders to keep the pallet wet during painting sessions. Masterson Sta-Wet Stay Wet Palette - Premier Acrylic Based Paint Kit, keeps wet paint fresh for days.I find I can keep an acrylic palette "alive" for 3-4 days and then refresh the palette with a mist spray and get more usage. There is one problem with this product, and it hasn't interfered me from purchasing 3 of these units, is that the lid of the case is extremely difficult to close. A lot of pressure is required to seat the lid on the palette base.Be sure to follow the prep instructions in conditioning the palette and the sponge underlining. Don't skip the prep step as it will decrease the product's effectiveness.

Easy to use., Long lasting. Perfect size

I have one of these at home. I ordered a second one for our vacation Condo. I realize I was wasting so much paint without having one down here. This keeps the paint wet for weeks. It’s worth every penny.

This product has kept my pallet wet for at least six days. That was awesome and amazing.The only con with it is it is so hard to put the top back on and seal it. I read where a lady had to keep standing on the edges and that’s dangerous but that’s not what I have to do to get it closed.I would try to find one that doesn’t have that rubber type of lid that has to fit perfectly and is hard to close. But it really is a great product.

Paint doesn’t dry out fast

I found it difficult to close. Trying to snap it shut is a bit of a chore but it does keep my paint wet.

the lid is made of hard plastic, and its shut so tight, i was unable to open it. i unfortunately have to return and look for another model
