I've been buying and using this same product for at least three years now, this is my favorite! Unlike feminine style planners where each weekday's space/box for writing notes is shrunk, and instead they put an entire "Notes" column to the right page, this Ratchfeld/Bumblebee Planner diverts ALL available space so you have maximum space to write notes for every weekday (Sunday and Saturday share the same row of space as a weekday)You get a sticker label with separate labels for each month, so you can place Month stickers at whatever mage you want to start.Each month starts with two pages to show you the entire month's calendar. After flipping those pages, you will see two pages dedicated to every week of that new month. This gives a good "monthly preview" before you get to the writing of your notes.At the back of every Bumblebee Planner, you have somewhere around 20 to 30 pages of blank pages if you wanna put extra notes or rip out.Is this fake leather? YesIs this hardcover? YesBut don't let the fake leather fool you, this is PLENTY durable for the entire year! I had this planner run over by a car and its still good (for the most part).Other features:- It has dedicated Contacts page, some global or country trivia, a page telling you a list of all the holidays included, and probably some math/calculation pages. If you ever had those High School / College Planners that had trivia or math or a ruler included printed on the pages, its like that.- It has a small loop on the outside of the planner's binding so you can tuck in a pen, so you're always on the go and will always have a pen- At the back of the planner, there's a 'flap' that acts like a folder so you can tuck in an entire 8x11 sheet of paper that is folded. That folder/pocket is also where the monthly sticker label is located.- Two ribbon bookmarks are included. I like to use the grey placed somewhere in the past (such as the start of the previous month or start of the current month) and the black ribbon to mark the current day/week.- A band (usually gold) is located at the back of the Planner, which can be used to bind the back hardcover, or swung around so you can rubber band wrap the entire planner shut. I usually don't need to use it but its good to keep it shut if you have to (or have piece of paper stuck at the front and/or back of the planner)- Pocket at the back planner is good for putting in business cards, coupons, advertisement paper, but not quite big enough for mail envelopes whether placed horizontal/vertically (unless you fold it)To the creators, PLEASE don't change the overall design of the outside and inside of the calendar (monthly and weekly), I NEED the extra space for each day to write notes!I rate this 5/5 but on a scale of ten, an 8 or 9/10. This planner is my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE! I cannot recommend it enough. The price is very fair.

Beautiful, well constructed planner! Love that it is dated and has helpful elastic strip as well as inner page markers and rear pocket for on-the-go organization. It has ample room to write in the monthly spreads; writing space is not cluttered and reduced with unnecessary shading or labeling like many planners. Soft gray text is clear and crisp without being visually distracting, so what you write (the important part of planner!) is easily visible. Thick pages prevent bleed-thru from ink. Love this planner and would highly recommend and buy again!

Starts in July whereas many start in spring. Good and logical transition choice.

I always have to have a paper calendar backup. This works great. Wish it had permanent tabs/dividers for each month. Not having that makes it hard if you need to move quickly between months . The colorful stick on tabs provided do not complement the classy style of the notebook.

I have always been someone to NEED a planner, that is the only way I can keep things straight and honestly keep appointments and important dates right within my reach.Yes, we have digital reminders and such, but nothing compares to being able to keep appointments and information right on paper. I have much better success keeping records in a planner. I love that there are two ribbon markers for keeping place, an elastic band to keep the book together.The layout is so nice too. I can keep separate track on the calendar part of the planner and then write out as much as I need or can on the daily part of the planner. I am not one to go for an academic planner, but I couldn't beat the price for 18 months.I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this planner, for the price, I thought the pages would be thin and see through and it was going to be flimsy, nope. I can throw this right into my purse with the elastic band around it and not worry that I am going to spill out my saved papers or places. I love that there are little pockets on the inside of the back cover, I put my stamps and little papers in there. Also, there are quite a few pages of just note pages and that is really nice, especially when you don't have a notepad readily available.I have already purchased my replacement for next year. Seriously, don't waste more of your money on those over priced. "specialty" planner. I could kick myself for at least 3 years of doing just that! $14.99 for a year and a half of dates for keep your life a little bit more in order.
