I would recommend a size small however, if your dog is a bit beefy, then I would go a medium, but either would fit

Thank you for your question. This leash is designed for use with the Long Hauler Joring Harness; it is not designed for use as a tie-out.

Thank you for your great question. This harness is tested to a tensile strength of over 400 pounds of stress depending on size. Please note, however, that this harness is not meant for your dog to pull objects. This harness is designed for skijoring or bikejoring. Dog Joring refers specifically to the practice of having your dog tow you, but not to pull objects.

Q: Can you attach the leash to the front at all for walking at a heel purposes (and attach to back for running/pulling)?

The Long Hauler Harness is specifically designed to be used so your dog can pull you along, whether you're skiing (skijoring), skateboarding, biking, etc. It does not have a front leash attachment as it is not meant to be used as an everyday style of harness that would be used for walking or general use.
