Best for modeling, not products that will be handled!
I bought this for laser cutting some boxes, but on the way from cutting a piece on my workbench to the laser cutter I managed to snap the wood by just bumping into something with it. I did some stress testing on some more pieces and determined it would not be good for making things that will be handled, especially if the thing have narrow pieces that may overhang. It snaps at the natural seams between the wood fibers.Despite that it is a good looking wood, so rather than messing with shipping it back, I'm going to keep it and use it for décor pieces and such that won't be handled. The sheets are around 3.2mm (~1/8in) thick. Also be aware that they ship the product just wrapped in plastic, so its more susceptible to the top or bottom sheets becoming damaged as well as for the edges of all pieces, so don't order just one pack if you have to have 24 sheets edge to edge. The two pieces I measured came out to between 3.24 to 3.52 mm in thickens in different spot.It is very important to note that this is NOT plywood and that is most likely why people are reporting warping issues. It is made up of solid wood and solid wood warps across the width of the grain when exposed to changes in humidity level/temperature. Plywood negates a lot of the warpage by having multiple layers of wood glued together with the grain of each layer going in the opposite direction as the previous one resulting in them counteracting each others attempts to warp. If you get pressed flat, dried, and then seal it with something like clear coat, that should help prevent so much warpage.

Thicker than 1/8"
Tried creating a laser cut out box with it that was designed for 1/8" slots and tabs but these sheets are thicker which through off the dimensions. Things didn't fit right. It required a whole lot of touch up in the files. I would not recommend these sheets for projects having slots and tabs. It's fine for something like multilayer mandalas.

Exactly as described.
Good vendor! They know what they're talking about. This is indeed (nominal) pure natural-grain (genuine) basswood (NOT plywood!) with a nominal thickness of 1/8". Immediately upon arrival I measured the stack and found an actual in-hand average thickness of 0.136", which is well within the expected range for 1/8" basswood, less than 10% oversized, easily explained by humidity movement. After it has acclimated to my environment, it may be either undersized or even more oversized, depending upon the humidity to which it had been subjected in storage and shipment before arriving here. The humidity in my work area isn't stabilized, so I'm very sure it will continue to move until it's finished on all sides, exactly as any wood will. All surfaces are clear and unmarred, very clean, with no objectionable chipping on any edge. Truth told, I probably damaged the top and bottom sheets more with my caliper than they were damaged before they reached here.Folks, if your project calls for 1/8" basswood... this is it. This is the right one to buy. I cannot think that any Cricut would be happy cutting it, certainly not in one pass, but it's excellent for scrollsaw work or chip carving or laser engraving / cutting or even just for knife-cut trim for a dollhouse or Christmas ornaments.Very good stuff.

Sheets are warped
First sheet out if the package, it was not flat. I pulled one from the center and it was bowed a bit. I bent it seemed to flatten out.I did a photo image on laser with it and it ended up all distorted. Not sure I can use this for images. It cuts nice. The image, when it wasn't distorted looked really nice. But time will tell if I can use it for what I want.Probably have to get thicker material for photos. Too bad, everyone was saying get Basswood!

Ok
Works if you don't care if wood is very fragile

Great value
I was skeptical after reading some of the reviews. The very first piece that I tried to use with my laser caught fire. However, I lowered the power on my laser, and we've been going ever since. I've made loads of ornaments and decorations with this material and am on my third order of it. It's a great price and if you work with it, you will enjoy it. I saw a lot of reviews saying the boards were warped but that hasn't been the case for me and I'm on my third order now.Update: Wood worked very well in the beginning for the crafts that I was working on. Now, even they catch fire. If I lower the power enough to stop the fire aspect, it won't cut all the way through. I've started getting the warped wood as well. The only thing that is still working well on these boards are the picture engravings. However, there is so much grain in the wood that it overtakes the photo on some of them.

3mm does not equal 3mm
Perfect for practice projects, but not so great for projects that actually require precise measurements. Used calipers to check the thickness, it's 3.52 mm on several sheets, some were 3.6-3.7 others were 3.4, very misleading when trying to work with files that call for 3mm wood, and wanting to use this to practice before using the good stuff. The "wood" bows right out of the package and doesn't lay flat. (Not in an area with a lot of humidity either.)This wood is almost like particle board, very flimsy and cheap feeling.
