**Q: Should i expect a water pressure (psi) reduction by using this?  if so, what pressure % drop have you experienced?**
A: I'm getting a HUGE pressure drop of over 40 PSI!  With sprinklers running I'm measuring 85 PSI upstream and 45 immediately downstream of the filter.  It drops to 25 PSI after filtering sediment for several days.  Back flushing as designed partially restores pressure the first few times, but then the filter element requires removal and scrubbing.  Mine is the 50 micron filter element.  I am now shopping for a 500 micron (which will probably act like no filter at all on my super-fine sediment.)  I have a high flow rate of about 10 GPM in a 3/4" PVC sprinkler pipe fed by canal water (non-culinary) - a very demanding situation likely to produce a high pressure drop.  Still, this big drop is far too much to be acceptable.  I would not recommend this filter unless you have a much slower flow rate.

A: High impact plastic, bpa free and weather proof.

**Q: Is the brass lead free? Can you provide certification to prove it?**

Using this on a rainwater collection system between the tanks and the RV 12v pump. Works wonderful, no issues and is nice and easy to clean when sediments build up. The valve is nice but it is also real easy to unscrew the shroud and clean the stainless screen itself.

I replaced a whole house filter with this unit. the filter is stainless steel and can be flush cleaned with built in pitcock. it has worked well. It works on loose particles . Not sure it would work on cloudy water so be aware if thats what your issue is.

I recently installed the iSpring WSP-50 spin-down sediment filter as part of my whole-house water treatment system, and it has performed exactly as I had hoped. In my setup, the WSP-50 is installed between a whole-house carbon filter and my water softener. Its primary purpose is to capture any carbon fines that may be released from the carbon media tank before they can enter and potentially damage or foul the water softener.The filter is well-built, easy to service, and provides a simple visual inspection of what is being captured. I particularly appreciate the flush valve feature, which makes routine maintenance quick and convenient without having to disassemble the unit.I also want to recognize Nick at iSpring customer support.
