These socks were given as a gift so the feedback comes from the recipient. She said the height and stretch of these socks are just right, comfortable and secure. Perhaps her favorite feature was the skid-proof soles. She said they were so much more comfortable and the grips on the soles were strong enough to make her feel safe. I'll be order some more for her soon.

These socks do stretch, as promised, and the tops do not cut into flesh, as described. Two caveats, though. After a few (3-4) washings, the tops start to unravel and elastic strings wrap around the socks and other items in the washing machine. I have found it helpful to keep a pair of scissors in the laundry room to clip the loose threads before drying and putting the socks away. Im guessing the tops will sag, eventually, with the continued loss of elastic threads over time, but thread clipping has worked so far to prevent such damage. The other thing is that I accidentally (my bad—I didn’t read the description carefully and hit the wrong button) got 4 pair a few days ago that had nonskid bottoms (like “hospital socks”). I can only use these as slipper substitutes because I have trouble with the sticking to the insoles in my shoes. Just mentioning this in case it matters to you. In all, these are the best big-leg socks I have ever bought, and the price is right.

The wide top is very nice. The socks stay up and do not bind. HOWEVER... the toe seam is very, very thick and painful. I even tried to cut the toe off and wear them as a sort of leg warmer. Ended up using them as dusting cloths. USELESS as socks. Do not buy.

Bought these for my 88 year old Mother.I have had a real hard time finding her socks her feet and legs swell and every other socks would cut her circulation.But these socks are very comfy on her and easy to put on herself.Great sock for great price
