Q: I have a yamaha drum kit, the current hi hat control is a HH65, will this replace that pedal and work with kit?

As long as you have the original cable and module from the Yamaha kit, it should work.

Q: Can I use this as a kick drum trigger as well?

Yes I also use it as a kick trigger and a hi-hat controller

Q: Will it replace the controller for the roland td-4? i have the original cables ...

It does not work as a high hat controller for a roland td-4. I tried.
