50 Successful University of California Application Essays: Get into the Top UC Colleges and Other Selective Schools

The UC application requires applicants to write 4 essays from 8 prompts. The essays can be no longer than 350 words, which is a real challenge when you are trying to make an impression. I bought this book hoping it would give some insight into how successful students chose to address the topic in only 350 words. The essays in this book are far over 350 words. So it makes me wonder whether these essays were even used for UC applications at all.
