Has a nice display screen and does exactly what I need it to do, that bring to turn on and off automatically and record clear, forward-looking video to a micro SD card while driving. I don't need phone connection, wifi, cloud storage or any other features. Will "loop" record and eventually over-write old (unlocked) videos when the card is full. From experience, good practice to upgrade the card to one of the reputable high endurance type specifically for loop video recording. Was easy to setup and use. First impressions are very positive, especially for the price point. Only time will tell how long it works.

I was looking for a dash can I could install/ remove quickly and use in multiple vehicles. This unit is front cam only, not wasting money for a rear camera I’ll never use. The suction mount is small enough that it hides behind the rear view mirror when I’m driving. Basically plug it in and go, starts up and shuts reliably with the vehicle. It records in 60 second files, making it easy to find the shot you need and transfer it. It’s exactly what I wanted.

The problems with the device: When the SD card gets full, it doesn't overwrite automatically. It instead insists on reformatting the SD card. Mildly annoying, but not a huge problem. The suction cup doesn't work very well when it gets hot. Central California gets hot from late spring through early fall. So right now the suction cup comes loose every few days. Not cool. The wire is not easy to install so that the wire isn't dangling. I never got that figured out. So the wire dangles. The good? This thing does a great job when it isn't having suction cup problems. Fortunately, the "reformatting" issue is set to always only happen when first starting up, so it isn't like I have to fiddle with it while driving. Likewise, the suction cup issues tend to only happen when I am first getting into a hot car. Once I have the car running, the windows down and/or the AC on, the suction cup isn't a problem, so again, it doesn't interfere with driving. I really like having this. I know this review is talking about the problems. But this device being there gives me peace of mind that with the horrible drivers in my region that if they cause an accident I will have proof. I have reviewed video from it a couple of times and it DOES work. And the peace of mind makes this way worth the cost. Highly recommend everyone have one of this type of product. Whether THIS device or another one? That is up to each person. UPDATE: The seller has contacted me and is proactive about resolving problems. I am still leaving the problems listed above because purchasers should know what they are getting into, but again, not just because of seller responsiveness, this device gives peace of mind that if one of the local horrible drivers causes a collision, I know this device will clear me of wrongdoing. I would make the same purchase again, even knowing the issues I mentioned above.

Working great for last 1 year. It has all the features like playback from screen, long cable, decent video. Value for money. When during very hot days suction cup may fail, but the camera is light weight so it won’t cause any damage. You can put it back easily.

easy to install, cable length was good , screen is good, features are basic, suction cup worked well.

Worked fine for about 8 months and then completely died. It has power, but the screen does not come on, and it stopped recording video a few months ago.

I'm extremely disappointed with this dash cam. It turns off randomly, and the battery life is laughable - less than a minute. It's completely unreliable. The biggest issue is it doesn't record when you need it most, shutting off unexpectedly and missing critical footage. This defeats the purpose of having a dash cam in the first place. The suction cup on this dash cam is a disaster. Camera's constantly falling off, whether I'm driving or parked. I'm stuck finding it and re-sticking it to the windshield before and DURING drives. Ridiculous design flaw for a device meant to capture crucial moments. I didn't expect for too much for the price, but tolerable basic functionality seemed like a given. Unfortunately, this camera fails at even that. Bottom line: unreliable, falls off, turns off randomly... Wouldn't recommend to anyone looking for a reliable driving companion.

first time I bought 10 cameras to check how it works for our transportation company, it was perfect, good price, good recording. No problems at all. Later I bought 32 cameras, then I bought 4 more, and planning to buy a little more to install it for all our vehicles. Customer Service is very nice, they sent me some mechanism to record video 24/7, still waiting for delivery
