Liquitex Professional Gesso Surface Prep Medium, 118ml (4-oz), Clear

This is a product that I usually use, so I knew what I was buying initially. This product is a great quality product, has amazing coverage, & easy to use. I like the texture of it during + when I’m finished prepping my canvas. It’s definitely my go to + will continue to be because it’s on par with Golden, but definitely a cheaper alternative.

I love this stuff!! If I’m painting I often put a layer over my initial sketch to make sure the graphite doesn’t mis with the paint, and to prime the surface, all at once. I’ve also used it to prime plastic surfaces which made the paint adhere much better. Same deal for a wood panel, except I used colored pencils instead, and it worked beautifully. You can even use it as a matte sealant if you don’t mind the slightly rough texture.Seriously I don’t know why clear gesso isn’t a staple in more artists’ toolkits. It’s amazingly versatile

Works just fine, small for the money

Bought this to use for doll customs. It has a great texture and tooth after drying. Feels just like drawing on paper.

Using for my paint by numbers. Making my painting look a whole lot better. I like it.

This product is perfect as a primer. I just wish I'd thought of it sooner.

Worked well and did not obscure the numbers printed on my canvas.

I just unpacked the bottle after receiving two days ago and it was opened and used. This was not listed as a used item, who would buy that? With the seal broken, I don't even know if what is in the bottle os actually clear gesso. I can't use this hopefully I can return it.
