Great, with one exception for me
I love JBL products in this sounds as good as anything. I am using it in a permanent place and plugged in the wall. I have it connected Bluetooth to my Mac mini. My only complaint is that it times out if sound doesn't play through it and I have to push the button to reconnect. I wish it would stay connected all of the time while it is plugged in or if I had an option to make that setting. I think it was mentioned that one of their apps would let you set that, but I haven't found it yet. Otherwise I love this thing.

Sounds good
Right out of the box it works fine. Sounds good and has good bass. Sound is warm and comfortable even when loud, it doesn't distort. The iOS app has gimmicky features like changing colors of the light on the speaker, but it works and the EQ is fine as well.What is bad1. iOS bluetooth connectivity is not smooth(it works but you have to go through some jumping through hoops every time you start the app and want to connect to the speaker .2. The moment you try and start the process to update the firmware( the update is made available every time you launch the app), update fails consistently and constantly. When it fails the bluetooth connectivity goes into a tailspin that results in cycling through processes like quitting app, powering down speaker, restarting & then failing again in an endless loop. Resetting doesn't work.I had to send back two units, the third unit is working fine & don't plan on even attempting to update the firmware. Support hasn't been able to resolve the issue & I doubt they know what is happening.I am content with how it functions and is doing fine without updating anything.I never leave reviews but after going through 2 returns I thought I had to write a review.The shipping/packaging etc all very good. Product overall ok.

Good quality , I love the changing lights
It works well for a small party , it has changing lights , I love that I doesn't have to be connected all the time , you can recharge it
