School Bus Board Book

We have a 21 month old who loves school buses. His previous favorite bus book was a bus book intended for early readers (Mighty Machines series). It was full of photos but only comes in regular paper pages. Not only was it getting destroyed, it was getting a little boring for us. We wanted a board book with realistic buses, not cartoons with eyes. I was unsure if he would like this book as much as the other one but he loves it and we do read it about 30 times a day. Yes, a large format edition would be great, but the small one is nice for him - he can carry it around and look at it himself. The accompanying text is simple but pleasant to read, strongly rhythmic without being sing-songy, and the illustrations are bold. If your child likes buses or you have enjoyed other books by Donald Crews, I recommend this book.

Love this book my son is obsessed with cars trucks and especially BUSES WE ALWAYS READ THIS EVERYDAY.

whenever i take my boy to the local book store, he runs to this book and sits on my laps so we can read it together.he sees a dozen of school buses whenever we go out for a walk. when he read this book for the first time, he seemed fascinated to find out where these buses were going.he's very interested in traffic lights, so he gets all excited when we get to "Stop" and "Go" pages. he points and babbles!the book shows people lining up for the bus and the scene; i use it as a reference when we go to a toddlers' program and it helps him wait in line for his turn.the book also has a scene parents picking up kids; my boy gives me a hug as he points at the mommy and the boy hugging in the book.there are not many words on each page, but there's so much to talk about on each page with my little one!

My 1 1/2 year old is obsessed with buses (thanks to seeing older siblings riding buses every day). We got the full book from the library, but he was not ready for paper pages so I was thrilled this was in board book form. This book includes so many of those fun pages from the original book (all buses!!!), and was an instant hit with him. There isn't really a story line, but, if you are a little kid who really only wants to see buses, then this is perfect. We love it!

Looks a bit like clip art and the story is very short, almost like a haiku. But my kiddo liked the brightly colored illustrations and it is a regular among his favorites.

I got this book for my son’s second birthday. He is a big fan of school busses! This book was the best book I found with pictures of many yellow school busses. He loves it.

My two-year-Old nephew is obsessed with school buses - so this was the perfect gift!! He started saying “bus” as soon as he took the book out of the package, then turned every page to see more and more buses. I haven’t read the story, but the illustrations alone are enough to make him happy!

If your toddler is obsessed with school busses, this is the perfect book. Exactly what I was looking for! Yellow school busses galore! It's his favorite book.

Sadly he is really addicted to screens but he loved this book! He can't read yet but he's memorizing the pages. I'm hoping it will get him interested in other ones :)

Me resultó un poco sorprendente que el libro tuviera tan pocas páginas y casi nada de texto. Lo compré para reforzar mi vocabulario en inglés y no me ha servido. Lo guarde porque tengo niños pequeños a los que les hacen ilusión mirar autobuses amarillos.

A great book about buses for my guy who love them so much

This was a birthday gift for my bus obsessed 2 year old. He still gets so excited whenever we read it. Love the bright bold pictures and oh so many busses!

My 2 year old daughter loves school buses, points them out wherever we go. She is entertaining by this book but it's far from her favorite. The story is basic with little words on each page. Would not recommend for the price.
